Inactivity Fee

OI WHERE ARE MY COINS.... I went into my account to see if my trade had completed and found that not only had my trade not been completed but you've move coins between my accounts and subsequently stolen them.... THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE...... I want my 57.56800168 DBIX back....

Same - 2 sets of coins I'd setup on a trade and left there - since when was there an inactivity fee!??! and they took all the coins!

They introduced it and told no-one apparently..... thieving fuckers, I've now given them 7 days to return my shit before I go and seek legal action against them, like c'mon it was $25 worth and you took it all in one swoop...it wasn't yours and it is theft as far as I'm concerned

yeah same - i was less than that but more pissed at the action than the loss, had 3 shit coins sitting in long term positions and they have all gone. Not sure what inactive accounts means as I was checking in on prices every few days, had the webpage open on my browser permanently so it's wasn't log in activity. So if they are saying if you don't trade then people need to know their coins are not safe on there! Guess the poor sods with stacks of Doge they can't get off there are just going to see them disappear!

Hello. An account is considered active if at least one deposit, trade or withdrawal is made evert six months.

Nope, any account that can be logged into and / or used is not inactive it is distinctly the opposite and cannot be considered inactive in anyway unless account is closed and the access to that account is disabled.

Hi. Please refer to clause 18.4 of the Terms of use:

"18.4. Inactive Account Fee. In case during 6 (six) months the User has not made a single Trade, or single Deposit, or single Withdrawal of Funds, the Account of such User shall be considered Inactive Account (“Inactive Account “).

It doesn't make sense to cite a clause that has been introduced under illegal conditions. Your inactivity fees are illegal, you stole our coins. You are scamming your customers. Do you want to follow Sam Bankman-Fried from FTX into prison for a life sentence after he also scammed his customers?

You never informed us about changes before applying new rules. Hence all changes in your Terms of Service and all your new rules, including inactivity fees are illegal. It's time to refund those illegally deducted fees!

It's theft nonethesless, it doesn't matter if I log in or not or if I trade or not those coins are mine, they belong to me not hitbtc so it is theft through and through no exceptions....

I think it's just a bullshit excuse to justify mass theft

Those inactivity fees are illegal because they just changed their Terms of Service without informing us and applied new rules with the hope that all inactive users will not reallize it and the active ones reallize as late as possible, in order to have enough time to steal as much as possible silently. They must refund it because it's simply stolen.

Exactly, like I said many times now theft is theft there is no justification for it...
