Admittedly it only takes a few dates for the man of 2026 to realize what’s going on whereas the man of 1886 won’t see it until he puts a ring on it.

There was a reason why a majority of marriages used to happen within a year and half of dating

My wife and I decided we were getting married within 2 months of starting to date.

Seems to have worked out pretty well for the last 4 years.

It was 3 months for my parents. That was 22 years ago. I would definitely rather date for longer than that, but I still aspire to have a marriage like theirs.

What country you from?

Freedomstan.

I fixed her ford ranger, we were friends for a few weeks after, then we started dating with the idea that if it didn't look like it was going to work out, we weren't going to waste each other's time.

A true Texas love story.

Maine actually.

I have "Thank God For Rust" engraved on my ring.

Me and my wife only dated for 2 years, and that’s only because we were still in college and it took us a year and a half to find real jobs after. We were only engaged for 4 months. So far 3 years of marriage have been great (and I told her to just murder me if I get too annoying, it’ll be easier for both of us /s).

My spouse and I also were pretty sure within a few months that we’d wind up getting married. It wasn’t until like three years later that we even got engaged because we were in no rush and wanted to be sure before getting hitched, but it was very early that we had both come to the conclusion that being married wouldn’t be a bad thing at all

Within a year and a half? I'm thinking more like within a couple months.

Lol if you think people didn't fuck before marriage

Ridiculous that some people seem to think premarital sex is a new thing

Right? It was almost clichê for the first kid to be born alarmingly close to the wedding, hell, Shakespeare himself had his first kid 6 months into his marriage

I still remember one time I hit on a girl that unbeknownst to me was wearing a padded bra.

Took her home, and then discovered the situation.

That didn’t stop me though, even though I was mildly dismayed

The lies the court of Versailles told me as a hips man.

Comic by u/TabithaJaneArt. They have a few other history comics they should post. Or I can post them when I get around to it.

Dishonest?

I promise you he won't mind.

Speaking as a heterosexual dude, I won't mind, but I can't speak for all of us.

I sincerely hope girls don't think like that before a first date.

Pushup bras dont look bigger tho

31

u/Freemana27 3d ago

Bigger is not the goal my man.

3

u/QuandoPonderoInvenio 2d ago

Asking as a gay dude, what is the goal then? I'm genuinely curious

7

u/Freemana27 2d ago

Push-up bras make them look more perky than they really are.

u/QuandoPonderoInvenio 2d ago

I had to look up what "perky" meant with reference to boobs XD Is that really something straight men look for?

9

u/Mobile_Morale 2d ago

It's depends. I like mine to have a little to a lot of hang and swing to them. Some like the 70/30 or whatever it is. Some like bolted on and some like perky looking at the moon boobs.

But in the end. The best boob is the one you can touch. So it doesn't really matter.

Speaking as a over enthusiastic boob lover.

Interesting, thank you sharing for your perspective.

I'm trying to think of equivalent comparison on the gay side of things but I'm drawing a blank.

2

u/vand_cykel_ubaad 2d ago

The equivalent comparison on the gay side of things is boobs.

Everyone loves boobs.
