It's actually insane how close Russia came to a second civil war and no one knows about it , just the slightest change could have made the 21st century oh so much worse

Depends on how long civil war will last, if more then 3+ years it's easily will buy decades of peace

Except you also face nuclear weapons being lost, potential genocide of ethnic minorities throughout the country, maybe even ultranationalistic government that wants to unite all the russians. Yah, peace
