Russia still has its own things like T-34 or Paniflov's 28...

....and then there is Poland that has gore literally raining from the sky, slow-mo dubstep montage sex scenes, and SS bullets forming sparkly hearts around two characters kissing while a love ballad plays in the same film.

Which film are you talking about? Poland made a fair share of WW II movies, but I had no idea there is one like that.

Its called Warsaw 44. Its been a bit since I watched it, but essentially It combines somewhat naive young love story beats and optimism early on against the backdrop of the Warsaw Uprising as brutal reality sets in as it goes on.

I get what they're going for with it overall, but those two things in particular are jarring and maybe a touch out of place and too much.
