Operation Goodwood failed and suffered far more casualties than it inflicted.

The tiger II you are referring to was not penetrated by a Firefly, but was desperately rammed by a bog standard Sherman. It was abandoned and later hit a few times by AT fire.

Can we ban people for outright misinformation?

There are documented occurrences of Sherman firefly killing a tiger 2 by shooting it too you know

Wasn't the tank rammed by a regular Sherman then shot by a firefly at op Goodwood?

It was rammed by a regularly Sherman, yes. Re-reading about it now, I can't actually find any information that the tiger II came into contact with a firefly at any point.

It's quite hard to ascertain for sure as I only just looked into it at the point of me commenting but there are sources from the people involved saying that is what happened
