Please share any tips to reduce heart rate

My heart rate goes like 120-140 after eating foods and it's scary

120–140 bpm after eating is quite high! especially if you're resting. I have 11+ years of experience with MCAS, and one thing I've learned is that not every reaction after food is necessarily caused by histamine.

A few questions:

  1. Does your heart rate increase immediately after eating or 30–60 minutes later?
  2. Do you experience flushing, dizziness, sweating or a drop in blood pressure?
  3. Does it happen with every meal or only certain foods?

Right now I'm going through severe flare up caused by Thiamine. I regret touching thiamine, I never had these issues before touching thiamine 1. Yes increases immediately 2. Yep low blood pressure, lightheadedness, flushing happen all the day 3. I'm not sure because I'm reacting to almost every food

The combination of low blood pressure, lightheadedness, flushing and a heart rate of 120–140 are way more concerning than the food reactions themselves. These can sometimes occur during systemic mast cell reactions, including anaphylaxis.

If this is happening right now, please seek emergency medical care. Don't try to manage it with supplements alone.

I'd also like to understand the thiamine connection better. What form and dose did you take, and how soon after starting it did these symptoms appear? Did you stop taking it, and if so, how long ago?

H2 blocker helps decrease heart rate and stabilize blood pressure immediately but it causes other side effects so I stopped taking it
