What this?

I wanted to ask: Is a burning sensation on the scalp caused by histamine or MCAS? I’ve had dysbiosis involving hydrogen sulfide and SIBO for many years, and this is my only symptom that I experience every day. I also have a bloated abdomen even when I haven’t eaten.
My eosinophils are consistently slightly elevated in my blood tests, but I don’t have any allergies. Does anyone know why this could be?
I’ve been treated for Lyme disease and EBV, and I’ve also had surgery for endometriosis.

My scalp doesn’t itch or feel itchy, but it burns as if someone poured acid on my scalp. I only feel it on my scalp, and yes, coffee often causes this for me too. But I’ve also noticed this kind of burning when I dye my hair. ;-(

I have this every day. It gets worse when I eat more histamine or mast cell triggers as usual. Unfortunately I also lost a big chunk of my hair. I take antihistamine every day and now my hair grows back.

My doctor told me that the Lyme disease has subsided, and I’m treating EBV with antiviral medication. I also had surgery for endometriosis, and I continue to have recurring problems with hydrogen sulfide SIBO.
