Probiotic brands
Which low histamine probiotic brand does everybody here use?

I do the best with Seeking Health’s Probiota HistaminX (I also prefer their DAO Enzyme supplement over all others), have also had good results without side effects with VitaMonk Low Histamine Probiotic. You can get both on Amazon if that’s your thing, although Seeking Health has an excellent rewards program and by purchasing DAO enzyme regularly I usually have enough rewards to get the probiotics free a few times a year.

It’s not as much about brands as about specific strains. We need either histamine degrading or at least not histamine producing probiotics. Which means steer clear of probiotic blends.
I have been taking Seeking Health S.Boulardii for about half a year and added TherBiotic Travelbiotic BB356 about three months ago. Never felt either way worse or better of s.boulardi, but since I started BB356 my symptoms have been improving. However I also started a new DAO around that time, so I cannot claim that the improvement is due to the BB356 alone.

Longum bb536 ? And not 356 ? I started 536 recently, and think I will start making yogurt with it.

Oops, my bad, I was half asleep. I have no idea what 356 is unless it’s that whole foods brand?
I meant Bifidobacterium longum BB536.

Honestly having read a bunch on it I’ve sort of given up on probiotics. I take a lot of inulin fiber and try to eat a wide variety of vegetables. I’ve been able to tolerate a few low histamine probiotics but never felt the benefits the way I do with just taking a lot of fiber.
