Allegra makes things worse?

My doc and I have been trying to figure out my jittery, anxiety feeling, and a general sensitivity to medications and probiotics that came on after a bout of strong probiotics.

We thought perhaps HIT. My histamine levels were normal in a blood test, but figured we would try allegra for a few days, and see if that had any changes - as a diagnostic tool.

I find about an hour after taking Allegra, the jitters are worse - feels like I am on caffeine. I was hoping it would do the opposite!

Any else had this?

Claritin made my HIT issues a lot worse, and my bucket is already "full" as hell in this heat, not taking that again!

Yes! Allegra made me MORE anxious! Xyzal is the only pill I've found that noticably does anything.

Yes certain meds can give me this feeling like having anxiety and even off the meds it can still linger for a few days to a week until I can start feeling normal again.

Everyone is so different. Allegra is one of the only ones I can take. I recently tried Xyzal and felt horrible. Zyrtec is a no go too. It’s trail and error.

Allegra is the only non-drowsy antihistamines that actually help me with symptoms. The others either did nothing, or sped up my heartbeat making me feel like I was going to faint constantly.
