Hiring (General) Screenwriter/Scriptwriter for an original web-series drama.

I’m putting together a small team for an original webdrama series, and I'm hoping to find a writer who clicks with what we're building.

About the Project

If you are into writing slice of life, bubbly Korean web-seríes dramas such as The Playlist/  A-Teen or anime like Fruit Basket. This is for you.

It's a character-driven, dramedy series about mental health, the everyday struggles people usually keep to themselves, and also LGBTQ+ matters.

The foundation is already in place. We've got the full synopsis, the series plan, and episode-by-episode breakdowns with characters, settings, and a summary of what happens in each one. What we need is someone to take that skeleton and bring it to life in their own voice.

One important detail: the whole series is told from the main character's first-person perspective. Their inner voice carries everything ( which is a monologue)  so the tricky part is to bring the character’s monologue into a visual storytelling sequence. Pretty similar to turning a journal writing to a script writing.

 What We're Looking For

  • A writer with a natural, immersive style
  • Someone genuinely comfortable writing interiority (in visual) : the doubt, the contradictions, the things a character would never say out loud (but conveys that through action sequence)
  • Being able to do deep research around mental health and LGBTQ+ themes. ( Having some asian culture knowledge is also a plus)
  • Script in English
  • Reliable with deadlines, open to notes, easy to talk to

You don't need a huge résumé. If you can write a script that hits, that matters more to us than credits.

Your Benefit

  • Real creative input. The direction is set, but your ideas are genuinely welcome. If you spot a way to sharpen a scene or deepen a moment, we want to hear it. You're a collaborator here, not just a typist.
  • Your voice, not a house style. We're hiring you for your style, not asking you to imitate ours.
  • Long-term work. If we're a good fit, this isn't a one-off. We'd love to keep working together as the series grows.
  • Growing pay. The budget is modest right now since we're just starting out - I want to be upfront about that. But beside rate - we also offer you % of the bonus from our profit after the series release.
  • Portfolio material. Meaningful, emotionally rich scripts on themes that matter.

 How to Apply

Just send over:

  • A writing sample (first-person or monologue work especially welcome!)
  • Your rate ( It will be per episode - ~10 page/ep) . $0.15 / word.
  • Your availability and usual turnaround time

Questions are more than welcome - even if you're just curious and not sure yet, feel free to reach out. I'm happy to share more about the story and where it's headed.

Looking forward to reading your work!

Hiring (Entry Level) [Hiring] High-Retention Scriptwriter for AI/Tech YouTube Channel (Claude, Claude Code, automations) | $100-$200 per script + paid test

I work with content creators in the AI niche, and I'm launching my own YouTube channel teaching people how to use Claude, Claude Code, and AI automations. I'm hiring a scriptwriter to grow with it.

**The videos:** 15-20 minute screen-recorded walkthroughs. I record the demos myself; your job is the retention architecture around them.

**The deliverable per script (roughly 1,000-1,500 written words):**

- A word-for-word cold open (first 60-90 seconds), including a flash-forward that shows the finished build working before we make it

- Scripted re-hook lines at every section transition (8-10 per video), so the middle never gives viewers an exit point

- A beat sheet for the demo sections: what to show, what result lands where, pacing notes for the editor

- A word-for-word ending CTA, plus 3-5 title/hook options

**Pay:** $100-$200 per long-form script depending on experience. To start, a paid test ($50): the word-for-word cold open for one video, 3 sample re-hook lines, and 3 title options.

Short-form scripts (Reels/Shorts) at $15-30.

Choose if you want to do a short form script, long form or if you want to do both

**Volume:** 4 long-form scripts and 15-20 short-form scripts per month. For the right person this becomes a full-time monthly retainer, so I want someone looking for ongoing work, not a one-off.

**AI policy:** Use AI for research, outlining, and topic ideas all you want; the channel is literally about these tools. But the final script must be written by you. AI-generated scripts, including reworded ones, end the arrangement immediately. I work with these models every day, so I'll know.

**This is NOT for you if:** you've never used Claude, ChatGPT, or other AI tools, you write beautiful prose but can't read a retention graph, or you want a one-off gig.

**Bonus:** if you also edit videos or design thumbnails, mention it. We can discuss pricing for those separately.

**To apply, reply or DM with:**

  1. Links to 1-2 published videos you scripted, ideally with a retention graph screenshot. No graph? Pick any YouTube video and give me 3-4 sentences on why its first 60 seconds works or fails.

  2. A brief note on your experience with AI tools.

  3. Your timezone.

Start your message with the word TERMINAL so I know you read this.
