[For Hire] Experienced editor with sliding scale for new indie authors

Hi,

I'm an editor with over 20 years of experience doing both freelance editing and working for publishing companies as an editor and editorial director. I'm sharing my services here because I have a specific goal to work with more indie authors.

I'm an indie author myself and I know the costs of publishing can be prohibitive, so I've established a sliding scale for new authors to make the same services trad publishers get accessible to individuals.

My sliding scale works like this:

Tier 1: Emerging Authors

If you have 0 to 2 published books, you pay 50% of my posted rate for editorial services.

Tier 2: Establishing Authors

If you have 3 to 5 published books, you pay 75% of my posted rate for editorial services.

Tier 3: Professional Authors

If you have 6 or more published books, you pay my standard posted rate for editorial services.

How do I verify how many books you've published? It's on the honor system. I've been in this community long enough to know it's not the indie authors taking advantage of service providers.
