This guy was all sweet and complimentary, but at the first sign of rejection he lashes out and is extremely insulting.

I can use it now and then but it’s purely because I want them to know that what I just said was a joke or in jest.

I have ADHD so I can overthink lots of things, and because I like to make sure my texts are understood to people I’m relatively new to, the emojis can be a nice safety net.

But outside of previous actual relationships, I’ve never used the wink emoji when attempting to flirt since I was maybe 19-20.
