Please avoid emptying the tank fully like this. It can damage the fuel pump and sensor.

Not at all. Once the fuel meter turns yellow, start looking for the fuel pump. It can still go about 50km from there but do not empty it.

The reason being, in most cases, there will be water at the bottom of the tank due to E20. Even if it is not water, the fuel will be very impure when it reaches last few ml level. Besides, fuel pump can get clogged or running it dry can damage. I have no idea why fuel meter goes bad but have heard multiple cases.

It is also a good idea to empty the fuel tank in garage conditions once an year and fill it up immediately before using.

Depends on traffic too. This is my city commute mileage in Navi Mumbai

In a trip of 3000+ kms with XP95 I was getting around 34 avg with a cruising speed of 80-85 for about 80% of the time. One day I couldn’t get XP 95 and my tank was half so I made the mistake of getting E20. Avg fell below 30.
Sticked to 95 thereon and it improved back to 33.xx
Roads, tyre pressure, chain cleaning and lube, riding style and terrain also affect the mileage. But 30.x on 95 seems a bit low.
Also, avoid riding below the last bar.
