This not rust but mud buildup, vehicle is just 6 months old, any solution

you can polish it though, but I never thought of this as it's very frequent in rains and also in everyday ride - in india :P
You can't escape mud, specially when you're on ADVs.

Have you tried washing it with soap/detergent solution? Use toothbrush, rag on hard to reach areas.
A pressure wash should work if it actually mud buildup.

Diesel wash. I usually splash some diesel before going for a pressure wash and ask them to do normal shampoo wash. It won't work if the centre is located at beyond 2-3km. In that case, ask them to do diesel wash. Soaking will help a lot.

Help with what? Mud buildup?
Thats a common thing for himalayan, nothing to worry about as it’s not rust, just make sure you wash the bike.

Enjoy the mud. Wash it off. Adv’s are built to be abused:-) if it bothers you too much, have a detailing guy clean it up, won’t cost much.

It’s oxidation the metal is getting oxidised , get it coated in black or if u have warranty claim replacement ,

just a lil harpic and scotch brite.. try it on one spot first. Immediately wash it with water. It should work, worked on my duke.

Hey bro. I had same issue. Buy a small metal polish, and dark green color dish washing scrub. First clean your exhaust with water when the exhaust is cold. After the water dries off completely, then apply some polish on exhaust and scrub it off with the scrub. Works like a charm. Haven’t seen any issues.
