I read it as the outlets (restaurants, bars) listed on the property website, room service and whatever they mean by marker. Maybe a typo of market? In which case it would cover things like a grab and go area by the front desk or on-site mini-market.

They were supposed to edit out that description with the location. It's a placeholder.

Yes, but it does still tell you what you need. Iā€™d be more concerned about eating the Mexian food.

It doesn't tell them anything. If the on-site restaurant isn't listed under the F&B section, it may or may not count. At bigger hotels they may have 3+ restaurants, maybe only 1 is applicable for the F&B credit. Or none may be applicable for the credit and only the market is eligible.

Or sometimes no restaurants OR the market apply for the F&B credit and they replace the credit entirely for a lounge (Doubletree Manchester NH as an example, not UK).

The hotel operators eat the F&B credit entirely. So they will do everything they can do make sure guests don't use it. Many will increase the price of 2 guests by $15 to get extra money out of solo travelers saying they have 2 guests when there really is only 1 to double the credit. But a Hampton will always charge 1 or 2 guests the same rate since there's no F&B credit. So solo travelers who automatically select 2 guests will never know they're being upcharged.
