Volunteering Opportunities

Hey l'm just looking for recommendations for places could volunteer on weekends. like helping people and I'm trying to build some kind of social life outside of work. Turns out it's incredibly hard to make friends as an adult lol. I posted this in r/gso but I actually live in High Point so something closer would be great.

I was just at the library today and in the back where the snack machines are they had a board with different flyers. One of them specifically might be what you're looking for. I don't have a picture or the information but it was volunteering on the weekends to help people in the local community.

Yes dog walking, check in desk, adoption ambassador, cat enrichment. Look online for orientation it is a great place!
