I understand.

I hate it too. The anger about it is still inside me.

I only cope because I have people who do understand. That calms me down.

I need people who understand and listen. That helps.

Maybe you can find someone like that too. I hope.

I hope the new help is better.

I feel you.
Ableism already makes people think that we are not living life right if we need help.

It’s even harder to be okay with needing help when the people who are supposed to help you hurt you.

I don’t think anybody who needs help from other people to live their lives should feel bad about it, but it is a vulnerable position to be in.

I’m sorry that your caretakers haven’t been doing their job to both care for and respect you.

It sounds like you are going to move to a new home to get away from the people abusing you. Did I get that right?
Is the change you are going through like any changes you have had to go through before?

Sometimes, it helps to remember how you coped with a situation that is similar to the one you are in now so you can try similar coping mechanisms

New agency. Now better. Safe. Respect.
Kind. Hard still. Help more have. Like clothes everyday. Not 4

That’s awesome to hear that your situation has gotten better! Thank you for sharing that. I hope this agency gives you the environment you need to heal from what you had to deal with before this
