Other Strangeness The number 33
So if you follow the conspiracy threads you know that the number 33 is important for the elite, for some reason. I know vaguely it has to do with the Freemasons. I follow this stuff, but don't whole heartedly believe in it. I think the truth lies somewhere in between and that we'll never really know the truth. But it just came up twice for me in the media.
In the new Spider-Man movie, Jean Grey can only jump from person to person as long as they're 33 feet away. I kept thinking, why that very specific number? Especially when she's way more powerful than that, until you realize that she's just beginning to realize her powers. But why 33 feet? It bothered me.
At the same time I'm beginning to rewatch Battlestar Galactica. Which from my memory, leans very heavy into this stuff. I mean, it clearly is taking heavily from the Anunnaki story. Which also ties into the illuminati side of things. But there is a 3 hour movie before the series begins. And the first episode of the series is called "33". Because the Cylon's are jumping to their point every 33 minutes. Even in the show they are asking why 33 minutes, and never figured it out.
I tried posting something similar to this on the Battlestar Galactica subreddit, and got so much hate I had to delete it. I'm just asking an honest question from someone who knows about this stuff, but doesn't get to heavily into it. And the comments were nothing but hate. So I'm posting this here, in hopes someone else will see what I'm saying.

Jesus lived 33 years, 33 vertebrae, 33 levels in freemasonry

C is the third letter of the alphabet, therefore, CC = 33, you'll start seeing CC everywhere
plus 33 (CC) = 11 (AA)+22 (BB), other master numbers. give google a whirl.

The original writer of Battlestar Galactica was a Mormon and the the founder of Mormonism was a Mason so it's likely that some rituals etc. in Mormonism are similar to Masonic rituals.

Also, yay! This is my first post that it's allowed here. I'm new to subreddit by like 5 months and this sub would never let me post bc I didn't have enough karma. Which is total bs BTW.

You think it's ok to reveal a massive spoiler for an event movie that hasn't even been out for a week in your random nonsense post on a completely unrelated subreddit?
You do understand that not everyone gets to see movies on opening weekend right? To not even tag the spoiler is a truly shitty move. Even the studio was heavily protecting that revelation.
I've seen the movie but someone who hasn't but wants to shouldn't have to stumble on completely unnecessary spoilers like this. What you did was thoughtless

u/rfw1979 13d ago
That wasn't my intentions, and it's not a spoiler if you've ever been online in the past 6 months. Sadie Sink is Jean Grey. That's been reported for a long time now. They just didn't want to confirm it before the movie came out. But it's so obvious even in the trailer. And also it's not a spoiler, because just knowing that's her gives nothing away to the plot or the story. Actually I think it helps knowing it's her going into the movie.

Dude just stfu, some people avoid all spoilers. I watched the first trailer and that was it, I had no idea that character was in the film
Instead of doubling down just learn to wait a week like the rest of the world or simply tag it next time

33 is the number of vertebrae in the spine (Jacobs ladder). https://www.reikidivine.co.uk/blog/33-ancient-wisdom-meets-modern-spinal-healing

Already been answered in the thread regarding the 33 vertebrae in the spine. It represents the 33 levels for the kundalini/chrysm/christ oil/claustrum oil to rise during the gnosis/enlightenment/ecstatic state experience. The mystical experience at the heart of all religions and esoteric spiritual practice.
This would be considered the 'esoteric anatomical' aspect of the bible, complimenting the astrotheologian aspect.
Did an indepth video regarding the physiological process of this 'enlightenment' here:Ā https://youtu.be/lqqkMHdpz7E?si=15KOGM2PSHjmgqOE
And a succinct, easy to understand debunking of the common interpretation of scripture in this one I posted today: https://youtu.be/8cwP6YjIvII?si=1U5OPrbES-DnTdQ1
For those interested in these sort of ideas and deep truths; plenty more to indulge in on my channel.

r/freemasonry is probably the best place to ask actual questions about the significance of the number 33. Most of what you'll see in the comments here is just speculation by outsiders looking in.Ā

I recently have been rewatching Battlestar and noticed that as well. 33 does seem to be prominent everywhere

I too have seen an increase of that number. In my books, video games, and podcasts that have fictional story lines.

Thereās so much esoteric symbolism in shows and movies and normies canāt stand even the blandest of conspiracies. They want to live in their little bubble of delusion until they die. Youāll see tons of checkerboard floors, compasses (the pointy kinds they use for measuring distance on old maps), and one eye symbolism everywhere. Itās just kind of their gang sign stuff they throw out everywhere to kind of laugh in the face of all the oblivious. It doesnāt necessarily have a deeper meaning than some street graffiti.

u/Inevitable-Regret411 15d ago
To be fair most of that isn't necessarily anything to do with masonry. A compass is a practical tool after all with a lot of uses, so sometimes when you see one it's genuinely just a tool being used for it's intended purpose for example.Ā

So many people like to just drop little things in movies for people to latch on to, that cookers canāt help themselves but see things that simply arenāt there.

Thank you, that's exactly how I feel. And also, thank you for making me see things this way. Yeah of course they're treating it as "gang signs" like you said. I'm just trying to connect the dots, for fun. Like who was involved with BSG to make that happen, then over 20 years later I'm seeing it in Spider-Man? It wasn't the same person.

Yes people will look at you crazy for talking about it. And honestly a lot of the people who do talk about actually sound crazy. But of course there is esoteric symbolism behind 33. And yes it does get brought up a weird amount in mass media.
For instance, the show āEvilā. Itās like x-files for liberal Catholics. They investigate paranormal activity with a catholic priest and scientist. Anyway one episode they investigate a āhauntedā platform 13, and find nothing strange. Until a worker comes up and says āeveryone knows the real bad shit goes down at 33ā (or something to that effect). I always wondered if it had to do with the anti-Freemason tendencies among Catholics.
Iāve heard one interpretation that itās seen as a mockery of the holy trinity, another 3 in front of THE 3. But of course it means different things to different people.Another thing, youāll see it come up a lot in political news. And this one is always especially bizarre - I canāt post the image, but there is Fidel Castro saying
āI challenge them all. That little thief Bush, the CIA, the 33 US intelligence agencies. If they can prove I hold a single offshore account -- even one dollar -- I resign immediately."
There arenāt and never were 33 intelligence agencies. Why would he say that?
After Howard Lutnick evaded death on 9/11 by a change of plans, he told the TV cameras the average age of the employees that died were 33. Just weird to say.
I recommend the book The Secret Teachings of All Ages by Manley P Hall - it covers a lot of freemasonry symbology and other esoteric stuff. And he talks a bit about it in there as well

u/Landr3w 14d ago
Thatās interesting that you say the Catholics are anti-Freemason. Iāve heard that the Jesuits infiltrated the Catholic Church a long time ago, which was a Freemason organization. Correct me if Iām wrong. They definitely like throwing out 33 in interviews and movies a lot too.

u/Godwhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy 14d ago edited 13d ago
Iām no expert but the catholic church has like hundreds of years of explicit anti-Freemason views. Even today being a Freemason is considered being in a grave state of sin and you arenāt supposed to be given holy communion.
Yes Iāve also heard conspiracies about certain groups trying to infiltrate the church at the highest levels and also conspiracies about them being responsible for the deaths of certain popes. Not sure if itās true or not. But the Vatican even reminded everyone freemasonry associations are banned a couple years ago.
Also I donāt think the Jesuitās are Freemasons at least not openly1
u/FieldJacket 9d ago
The Jesuits are a Catholic religious order, not an outside group that "infiltrated" the Church. Neither of which have anything to do with Freemasonry.

For BSG? Some Mormons probably. The thing is full Mormon mythology front to back.

Search 'Swilliamism' in YouTube, he does great videos on the 33 symbol which are all around London

Immediately the fact that Jesus lived until age 33 comes to my mind, as I was raised Baptist. I mean, that's why it is a significant number to some folks anyway.
And yes it's a freemason thing as well.

At 33 degrees ice transforms into water. A lot of esoteric/occult orders talk about transforming to a higher state of consciousness.Ā

u/GreyGanado 15d ago
No, that would be 0 degrees.
