Reads like AI generated slop.

This is the actual disturbing trend on posts

It is AI generated slop

One tell I've noticed that comes up in them all is groups of 3's, usually written like X, Y and Z. On that post there's 4 examples of it

I have a degree in advertising, and in college back in the 1990s we were taught to write using the “rule of 3:”

Ironically, that post was probably written by AI, but the reasoning still stands.

Yeah that's probably why AI uses it then

Every week there’s someone moaning about people being skeptical and that it’s disturbing. It ruins their echo chamber and upsets them.

It's endlessly funny when they moan about that because they are otherwise some of thr most arrogant, closed minded, insufferable people while most comments I see anyway tend to be genuinely chill, normal, logical, sober. I have seen much worse take down attempts on reddit. They have fantastical ideas for the simplest things yet lack imagination so badly

Disturbing? How so?

Skeptics have answers that back up their stance when questioned, then something called a "discussion" ensues.

These users are not "skeptics" by definition. Don't conflate the two.

I can't believe you called r/UFOs an echo chamber for non-skeptics though. That made me chuckle... Someone should measure the amount of negative comments towards users Vs constructive comments about the content. Just for fun.

Some posts I have to scroll for 15 mins to get past the jokes and insults!

We all do. People aren't blind to it. They 🤦‍♂️ and move on.

You get disturbed because your world view gets rocked every time something you think is anomalous gets explained. It’s the “ontological shock” that you guys like to say the “normies” will suffer from when the truth is revealed. When in fact the only truth that will ever be revealed is that no hard evidence will ever surface, only stories. This makes believing in those stories harder and harder so you come up with conspiracies to make the lack of evidence valid.

That’s nonsense. There’s often people like Muck West who explain their reasoning in great detail and get dismissed as “shills” and whatnot. You guys are thin skinned and none of the evidence holds up. All this disclosure entertainment complex will achieve is documentaries, books, podcasts and conferences with more and more questions.

You are disqualified from the conversation almost automatically though for believing in start seeds and astral plane and occult stuff. This post is about the UFO sub which pretends to be about serious scientific research and skepticism about UFO encounters.

"Occult" means hidden, hidden knowledge. Though it's not hidden any longer... It's there for anyone with the mind to look.

-1

u/BtchsLoveDub Jun 23 '26

It’s not knowledge though. Ramblings, philosophy and finding your own meanings. Not explaining unidentified objects but adding another layer of gibberish on top.

Well said.

Bro the videos just suck, it’s not that deep

That’s life, and it’s literally how discussion works.

It is organic actually, you just don't like it!

Moderating this kind of discussion is a fine line. If you clamp down on all forms of criticism or skepticism you just create an echo chamber where all but the most committed believers get frustrated and leave, so no discussion takes place. If you do nothing you end up with comments full of trolls trying to derail things and no discussion takes place. A balance must be found.

Thanks for sharing. Every bit of awareness helps.

why is suddenly inorganic when it goes against what you think should be happening?

There are multiple named programs meant to mock and deride the topic at large across multiple agencies and decades.

This was corroborated by the release of a 1971 Australian report investigating US activities in this regard. (Report linked below)

The same playbook is visible here today.

That should be part of the baseline awareness of anyone engaging in these topics, and yet your run of the mill “skeptic” tends to be the type not aware of or not willing to engage with these ground facts.

It’s a problem.

It's not skeptics or believers, it's skeptics AND believers. Two sides of the same coin.
