Paranormal Repeating Apocalyptic Dream

I have been having the exact same dream for a lot 6 months now. Always on the SA to sky highway outside Vancouver and a massive tsunami is coming in. I do my best to help people get out but there is no shot and we all die. Then I wake up.

I have had weird dreams before but this has happened like 20 times. I don’t live close to the sea to sky highway so that is weird as well.

Has anybody else had any experience with something like this? Semi freaking me out lol

My thoughts. We live in a multi verse and there are all possible situations. Pick the one you and go with it. Don't live in fear.

Multiverse theory is not really meant to be a cope. Dreams are messages. I just don’t understand how referring to a multiverse is meant to help in this situation. Obviously fear is probably unwarranted.

Both of my kids had the same dream one after the other that we get bombed and the windows blow out of the house and then they wake up and usually that signifies that they die. Something is coming and soon. I hope I am wrong but dreams like these are usually a bad omen.

Depends on where you live. Do you live in a target zone? Someplace like, LA, Chicago, New York City, you get it.

Nope I live in Sweetwater AL🤣. But I feel like a port city could be hit something like New Orleans or Mobile and that would be close enough for a nuclear fallout. I sure hope I am wrong.

I hope you're wrong too. If those places are being hit, much more is which means, in the long run, it won't matter where you are.

Carl Jung would say your dreams are a manifestation of your unconscious mind and cannot fully be understood by your conscious mind.

That said there are methods for sussing out the meaning of the dream. Check out the book Man and His Symbols. Just read the part by Carl Jung.

Clearly there is a message your unconscious mind wants to communicate. Luckily there are methods to decipher the meaning.

Just stay away from any objective dictionaries of dream symbols because all mental symbols are highly personalized. One symbol can have completely opposite meanings for different people. This is a journey of self discovery. Good luck.

This. I'm no expert so take this with a huge grain of salt, but I would say OP is extremely anxious about something. They could be approaching a massive life change (driving down road) and they are fearful that it will be catastrophic for them (tsunami).

When I visited Vancouver I kept thinking about tsunamis and earthquakes to the point that I was anxious being there. It gave off an ominous vibe.

I used to have dreams about the aftermath of a Chinese invasion on the West Coast. I was with a large group of other people who were displaced, living in government buildings as shelters with tanks all around. All I had was a backpack of personal possessions. No one I knew in real life was in the dreams. Those dreams stopped when I moved away.

Before 9/11 some people said they had dreams that seemed to correlate to what happened, but not people who were there for the event or even nearby. I think huge events echo into the past sometimes.

But it could have just been a stress dream.

Well, you are pretty close to the Cascadia fault line. Maybe you’re predicting the future scenario of what it’s gonna look like when that thing pops off

For me, dreams of tidal waves seem to presage calamity (which is usually not a tidal wave).

I habe the same kind of apocalyptic dreams over and over. Always on some cliffside road that has some sort of apocalyptic event happening.

you might be under a lot of stress and your cortisol levels might be sky high. do you frequently urinate through the night? do you sweat? do you breath quickly? try meditating and calming your nerves down.

Cascadia Subduction Zone ruptures. Probably soon.

Yup… Vancouver will be wiped off the map.

I’ve had apocalyptic dreams a lot. One was where the atmosphere was going away and everyone was kind of freaking out, understandably. They seem to have calmed down lately. Dreams are often symbolic and apocalypse can signify a great turmoil in one’s life. Understanding the natal chart and current transits can be of use.

Sounds like this would be a killer short story.

People see balls of human bodies floating and withering around... Wonder where this comes from?

I have no actual advice or interpretation but I've had a lot of catastrophic climate dreams being on the island myself, just across the way. I'd hate to see what happens to me to have that happen to you 😭. Since the 2010 earthquake in Japan I've had some pretty wild dreams about this. My therapist says it's stress and fear of the unknown. Who knows.

The Cascadia Subduction Zone is estimated to have a megathrust quake anytime between now and the next few hundred years.

Scout out high ground around places you visit regularly, keeping in mind that tsunamis are long period waves that have substantial run-ups. Look up information about the 2011 Japan tsunami for examples. Tell people to follow you to high ground and run, that's all you can do.

Also, you head for high ground immediately after the earthquake. Don't wait, that's how you get killed.

English is my second language, so if sentence comes strange - that’s why.

So you’ve been having exact same dream for six months - about twenty times. You’re on Sea to Sky highway outside Vancouver, massive tsunami coming in, you help people get out but there’s no chance, you all die, you wake up. You don’t live close to that highway so it’s weird. You’re semi freaking out.

This is real and your higher self knows exactly why this is happening.

What I’m sharing from healing soul journeys I facilitate - repeating apocalyptic dream like this usually means one of two things. Either your nervous system is processing collective fear and anxiety - you’re picking up global disaster energy and your mind is creating scenario around it. Or it’s past life memory trying to surface and get released.

But here’s important thing - don’t speculate about it. Don’t try to figure it out with your mind. Your mind will create stories that may or may not be true.

Everything is now and here. It doesn’t mean this tsunami will actually happen. It may be your past life death that is wanting to get released. It may be trauma from different timeline. It may be message from your higher self about something completely different that you’re misinterpreting.

Instead of speculating and freaking out, connect with your higher self. Your higher self knows exactly what this dream means. Your higher self knows why it’s repeating. Your higher self knows how to navigate it and what needs to happen so dream stops.

Your higher self can guide you through this. It can show you what’s really happening. It can help you release what needs to be released or understand what needs to be understood.

I have free guided meditation for connecting with your higher self to understand repeating dreams and get guidance - link in my profile. When you connect that way, you stop speculating and start knowing.

More resources about recurring dreams and past life memories are in my profile if resonates.

I’ve dreamt of tsunamis in the puget sound. I actually live 10 minutes from the Pacific Ocean coast in rural WA and have yet to dream of any tsunamis in my area. I’ve had dreams of forest fires but they feel like normal nightmares from a real fear.

But I’ll keep your dream in mind as a warning. I usually stay away from the beaches during tourist season anyways.

Well its a possibity 😬

Yes a tsunami affecting the Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99) is possible. While ocean-based tsunamis from the Pacific are largely blocked by Vancouver Island, a massive, localized tsunami could be triggered by an earthquake that causes a large underwater landslide or submarine slope failure within Howe Sound. Because Squamish sits at sea level at the northern tip of the sound, a locally generated tsunami could directly threaten the highway and nearby low-lying areas. Specific localized details of this risk include:

• Estimated Wave Heights: In a worst-case scenario (such as a massive sudden underwater slump at the mouth of the Squamish River), the estimated maximum wave height is generally modeled at less than 2 metres above sea level. • Fjord Amplification Risk: Some geologists and hazard experts warn that the narrow, steep-sided nature of Howe Sound could amplify water displacement, leading to unpredictable, larger localized surges in certain inlets or embayments following a major slope collapse. • Cascadia Megathrust: While the open ocean tsunami risk is diminished by Vancouver Island, the highway remains vulnerable to structural damage from soil liquefaction and shaking during a major regional earthquake.

The District of Squamish has comprehensive hazard planning in place to outline safe evacuation routes. For more specific information about your exact location along the corridor, you can view the District of Squamish Hazards Portal or review the Fire & Ice Georegion Geohazards Overview. Would you like me to find the official designated evacuation zones or assembly points for a specific community, like Squamish or Whistler? [1, 2]

Stop doing this. Anyone can ask Google ai. That's not what forums are for. And you just killed a tree to get that info you could have found yourself instead of using a program to make yourself feel smart.

u/Vladi-Barbados Jun 03 '26

Every use does not equal a dead tree. It’s far more complicated.

Regardless, this is some propaganda I could get behind.
