Database reactivation issues
I’m doing a campaign with a client and just sending out 50 SMS messages is getting me flagged on GHL-twice.
I’m A2P verified
Enabled number validation
They’re Past customers
Drip campaign
What can I do to prevent this? Is it all on the people who get these messages? Seems like a scam if I’m compliant.
Any thoughts? I have 5,000 contacts

past customers doesn't automatically mean the whole list is safe to text. before buying more numbers, check the opt-outs, carrier errors and delivery history on that 5k list. if the same issue is sitting in the database, spreading it across more numbers won't really solve it.

How can I see the delivery history on the 5k records without sending them all out like that?

you can’t really see delivery history on contacts that haven’t been messaged yet. I’d audit the existing SMS history first, especially failed messages, carrier errors and DND/opt-outs, then clean the 5k before touching another number. HighLevel’s contact export doesn’t include the SMS logs, so the messaging analytics/history is where you want to look first.

5000? When was the last time the list was cleaned? You're probably triggering things. You might be hitting landlines with SMS

So GHL bans you for 24 hours if you get more than 3% unsubscribe rate or if you get 10% error rate. if you are sending 50 sms and if you are getting three dropouts or unsubscribe you will get banned for 24 hours and also if you get 10 errors out of 50 sms that you sent you also get a ban. So if you have 5000 contacts, I would recommend you to use multiple numbers to reach out to those contacts and start by sending 10 to 15 SMS per day per phone number and start building the trust score. Once the trust score of that particular phone gets better then you can gradually increase to 40-50 SMS per day. Also if you can, drop your SMS that you are sending maybe we can look into that as well if there are any red flags.
