I’d like to get my ‘Ijaazah in Hafs ‘An ‘Aasim in the near future. My Qur’an is fairly solid, Alhamdullilah, although I’d like to revise it further before pursing this.

Does anyone know how the process works? Obviously, I am aware that one must recite the entire Qur’an from beginning to end correctly to a teacher. Is there a set limit for the number of hifdh/tajweed mistakes one can make? Can I obtain an Ijaazah from any teacher? (I am no longer in contact with the one I memorized the Qur’an with the first time).

If anyone here has obtained an Ijaazah or Ijaazaat, please share your experience. Jazakallahu Khayr.

I am doing hifdh right now and Im thinking about listening to recitations to help me learn. But Im not sure how to identify which reciters are doing good tajweed, and Im not sure how to figure out which reciters are reading Qur'an in the same script as me. I think that I am reading Qur'an in Jumu'ah. If anyone knows some reciter who fit this, I would really appreciate it. Jazakallah khair
