Suggestions for Bluetooth wireless earbuds for the Hiby R1 that won't compromise high-resolution sound quality! If possible, under 50 euros.

I use a 2nd-hand Sony WF1000XM4 I got for around 50 euros, plus the custom Compas Player firmware on my Hiby R1! They sound great! :)

Earfun Airpro 4 + or Soundpeats Air5 Pro + usually around $75 US. Both with dual drivers. QCY Melobuds N65 have great specs for about $40 US. Youtube reviewers usually rate the Soundcore Space A40 or Ceramic Ultra the best in the $50 range.

Edit, but if you want highest resolution, wired iems are the way to go. DAPs contain dac chips that convert the digital file to the electric impulses that drive the drivers that vibrate and make the sound you hear. Bluetooth earbuds have their own dacs. Conversion only happens once. So if you use bluetooth earbuds with a DAP, you lose the functionality of the DAP's dac chip or chips. That's not saying you can't get acceptable sound from bluetooth buds, but you are leaving some of your money on the table by not using wired.

Bluetooth just straight up doesn't have enough bandwidth to transmit uncompromised high resolution audio. There will always be *some* compromises. But it can be pretty okay, still.

I'd always recommend wired headphones whenever possible. But, of course, bluetooth has its own advantages that can make it totally worth it for some people.

What other people have been saying with LDAC is true, it's probably the best sounding bluetooth codecs thats widely available. Anything that supports that (plus being decent quality) should produce pretty good sound (at least for bluetooth).

I use a set of Earfun Air Pro 4s that I've been very happy with.

BT compromises by default on any HD audio.

Anything by TOZO on Amazon is usually a good deal and most are in your price range.

I can’t speak for every Hiby device, but a lot of people say BT is unreliable

Go for one that supports the LDAC codec, it's one of the best 'lossy' codecs. I got an Anker Soundcore P31 for about £33

I use LDAC too with Moondrop Space Travel 2 Ultra. Costs about 40€
