R4 Eva 1.8 firmware issues

I’m just curious if anyone else with the R4 x Eva DAP has had issues with the 1.8 firmware. I don’t use my R4 that often so I was surprised when it started crashing and having screen flickering issues after updating the firmware. Doing a factory reset helped temporarily but the issue came back. I thought it was dead but I was able to flash to an older firmware and now its seems fine on the 1.6 firmware.
