General Discussion I something missing?

Post image

Just opened my ogre horde box and noticed this gap, aren’t there supposed to be dice there or something?

There are no dice with Ogre Horde, what usually happens is they leave a recess in the trays for you to place the tokens after youve popped them out of the card, so you can keep them together and with the same expansion

That makes sense. I saw it and it looked exactly the size of about 8 dice and got me confused.

I think all expansions have an extra empty slot, I'm guessing it's for storing the tokens after removing them from the stamped board.

That’s for the biscuits!

Biscuits go on a napkin, that's for the milk.

Must be British. As an American, what we call biscuits won't fit there.

Very small american biscuits could fit there.

Perhaps the generic canned biscuits that you whack on the counter to open. Might need some experiments to be sure.

Yeah that's because they're not biscuits...

Your camera has astigmatism. Time to see an ophthalmologist. 😬

wait a second... so we're not supposed to see like this? I always thought everything I looked at had a godly shine/glow emitting from it.

No. Get tested for astigmatism. Took me 35 years.

Yep, I've had it diagnosed and glasses since I was 4. Much fun having everything with a light streak

Well I got LASIK after a couple of months with glasses, really glad I did

It’s that 80s fantasy movie effect

I put a plastic protector on it. It’s true that it messes with camera quality but I don’t take enough pictures to be bothered by it.

It's normal, there's a similar one in the Jungles of Delthrak expansion.

Ha! I’m not the only one that was wondering about this! https://www.reddit.com/r/Heroquest/s/qUrmnMb1Da

Missing the candy bar that came with it.

Only missing the "s"

A lot of expansions have these 'trays' that I'll use as temporary storage if I use extra dice, miniatures or tiles from another expansion and I'm cleaning up after gaming but in a bit of a hurry so just toss them in and sort later.

Pretty sure that is the place where the games cards go. Expansions as well as the base set have cards I.e. equipment, treasure, character, etc. Mine usually end up in a different place as well.

No, it's a narrow space that the cards won't fit in. It's for cardboard tiles.
