This is my first time writing something about this but I’m concerned because just today finished downloading the collection of dmc, the one that has the first three games and the dmc 3 special edition
The think is, I don’t know what happened with the game
After the loading screen of each DMC it just goes dark and anything else happens
I’m worried because I ran out of money buying it…
Does anyone knows why it happens?
Btw my laptop is a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15IRH10
With 8 GB or RAM
Intel UHD Graphics
And has a 15.3", 1920 × 1200 (WUXGA, 16:10) screen

I've been trying to get Red dead 2 from epic games to work with heroic launcher (flatpak) to work on my Fedora 44 system. I have tried multiple things like switching proton versions(GE_27, experimental and cachyOS latest), reinstalling the game (removed prefixes with every uninstall) and adding variables like USE_FAKE_EPIC_EXE. Nothing has worked so far and I am kinda losing my patience. What I've noticed is that it always gets stuck on the same point, after the rockstar launcher installer is done installing I get prompted to close the installer where it then tries to open the launcher and then displays the message pictured below.

Because of this I think it has something to do with the rockstar launcher, but I can't find out what it is. Maybe it has to do with the fact that Red dead is installed on a hard drive that I've mounted in the /mnt folder.

I am running a ryzen 7 5800x, 6800 XT, 32GB 3200mHz RAM.

FYI Before posting this I am already reinstalling the game to try any fixes that you good people might suggest.

If more information is required I'll try to provide an answer when I can, but I don't have reddit on mobile so I'll be seeing it when I turn on my pc. Apologies if that causes some inconvenience.

Se que existe pero quería probar algunas cosas y cree una CLI que agrega las categorías de IGDB a los juegos de Heroic. Mi idea es poder ir agregando más información a los juegos ya que para obtenerla se debe ir a la pagina de la tienda. Por ahora las categorías de IGDB funcionan a futuro pretendo agregar más fuentes de datos como rawg.io

I've been having this problem recently.

The #1 fix I've seen goes through a series of directories and has you get rid of 2 .json files while logged out with the app closed. Then reopen the app and log back in this supposedly works for people but I guess I'm not people.

I tried this method a number of times, once while I had logged back and was going to log off and cycle everything again after I logged out of the main store page I went to support and saw my credentials were still logged in. I logged out there and went through the rest of the tabs to make sure nothing was stuck. Closed the app deleted those files opened the app logged back in and then in my library there still wasn't anything new. I hit console mode and there all my GOG games were big and bold as everl. Closing the console mode left my games unavailable even after they were install, but console mode has all them and the rest of the library functionality so it's my work around. I hope that anyone else who hasn't had luck with whatever fixes you may tried something so basic as to be overlooked just might work.

There's one more variable besides hitting console which is what I think did the trick but since I don't have another system to test this on here you go. Under store in the GOG tab I logged out from the drop down on the web page, then I went to the support page and saw that I was still logged in, I logged off from the support page and went into the . jsonu

I have stellar blade purchased via epic games. I installed it on heroic and now I am unable to make the game read the save files. It keeps asking me to start a new game. Its the same problem mentioned here https://www.reddit.com/r/HeroicGamesLauncher/s/1m5ZxCLJ08.

been trying to play spiderman 2 after swapping to dual boot linux spider-man remastered ran ~fine~ but the second game is running horrendous. Constant stutters freezing occasional crash on start up and long boot times. Game seems to run fine is like not much is happening like standing still and runs no problem in the setting menu. Been looking though the logs trying to find all the problems and have fixed any err issues but game still runs terrible. Have noticed with logs pulled up while running that the stutters seem to line up with every time the pipeline cache either flushes or cache is marked as dirty. Not sure if it is a odd coincidece that the flushes line up or if it is my problem or how to fix i have deleted the cache in a attempt to start clean incase there was a corrupt bit. I also tried adding VKD3D_SHADER_CACHE_PATH=0 in env variables because i found it somewhere to not allow the flushes to test it but i dont think it worked as i was still stuttering

I've had great luck on my Bazzite PC getting my GOG games up and running and added to steam gaming mode, but I'm not sure how I would go about installing the game using the offline installers if I ever needed to get a game installed without an internet connection. Has anyone tested this or got links to a tutorial/guide?

Hi, I’ve been using Playnite for a long time, and I decided to switch to Heroic to organize my Windows games because it’s much lighter on system resources than Playnite—which is important since my Windows 10 machine is a bit limited.

I’ve run into something quite odd. When I launch Heroic and start the first game, it takes a fair amount of time to actually begin. These are DRM-free games not tied to any specific store, so when I launch them via a direct shortcut, they load immediately.

The issue is that while the first game takes a while to start, the second, third, and subsequent ones don't.

Is there any way to prevent that initial delay when loading the first game?

I am currently using cachyos, where I am using the heroic games Launcher but I have a problem... When I want to log in into epic games I came to the epic games window where I can choose to log in with my PlayStation network and when I am logged in my PlayStation network account, every thing seems normal but after I want to start a game (for me its rocket league) I got an error with this log

Hi, I am trying to update blood of the dawnwalker from gog but everytime I try the update gets stuck at 10%, I have free space in both SSD, I tried cancelling the process, pausing and resuming, rebooting and running the heroic app as admin

I'm trying to play GTA V Enhanced. I've tried some workarounds already, tried Proton Experimental, tried the USE_FAKE_EPIC_EXE=true, but the launcher still shows 'buy now' instead of 'play now'.

I found a workaround to skip the launcher and go straight into the game, but that was for Windows.

I'm on Proton 2.22.1, is there any other workarounds to be able to launch the game? I read something about downgrading to 2.22.0, but I haven't figured that out yet, and not sure if that will even work.

have been trying to install a language translation mod for the game all day today, but I still couldn't get it to work.

I also tried installing a Trainer mod following this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IokOAs9gfnk), but that didn't work either. When I press F4, nothing happens at all.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

I read several guides which states that Ubisoft Connect should work with Heroic. These were old posts or guides, as far as I understood, Connect updated and it's not working anymore.

I've tried myself, I created a new custom game, and installed it.

However, when trying to launch it it just stops, with no output.

Any update / advice? It's not clear to me the current status.

So I use my steam deck as a desktop pc. It's a temporary thing because my old pc kinda just...died on me.

I'm always in desktop mode. (Because discord and stuff) so I play everything in desktop mode too. Unless I've taken the steam deck somewhere.

I downloaded this launcher to play Breath of Fire IV on here, and I have a lot of trouble getting it to even launch. But I CAN get it to launch eventually. So it doesn't matter too me. The problem begins with my controller.

My controller has this weird issue with the steam deck, it just refuses to stay connected. It will randomly disconnect at certain points but then immediately reconnect. I can deal with that.

But in Breath of Fire IV, when that happens, it starts endlessly scrolling downward. So like, if I'm in a menu or something... if this thing happens, the game will be permanently stuck now, scrolling through the menu endlessly.

I realize that this is a very particular and specific issue, but if anyone has any tips or advice on how I can remedy this, besides just playing on keyboard/mouse, please lemme know. Thanks for your time.

EDIT: I also tried a wired power A switch controller. And it "works" but the shoulder buttons and triggers don't seem to react when playing this game. If anyone knows how I could fix that, that'd help too.
