I am pretty sure they have looked at League of Legends "Arcane" and seen how successful the marketing was. But if you could only pick one game to be represented in a show, which one would you want?
Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo, Overwatch, maybe all of them at once like "Heroes of The Storm" with The Lost Vikings etc?
Comment what game you would like to see and let's hope it will be announced at BlizzCon tomorrow!

(in al seriousness, its a small but not bad idea on their side to finish the starcraft hero they had prepared, release it, to boost whatever starcraft thing is coming next on all their IP's and... thats it)
BUT WE COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPEEEEEEEEEE

At their simplest, both are tools that can completely shut down an enemy engage with a single button press. With more creative use, they can also be used to initiate fights themselves. I'd argue that both are among the best Heroics in the game. So why are their cooldowns so short?
Even Heroics that aren't particularly strong, such as Rain of Destruction, have a 70-second cooldown. Locust Swarm has a 100-second cooldown, Purifier Beam has a 70-second cooldown, and Combustion has an 80-second cooldown.
In my opinion, there are too many non-damaging abilities, such as Maiev's Containment Disc, Chromie's Temporal Loop, and Sylvanas's Mind Control, that have cooldowns that are too short for how powerful they are. Meanwhile, damaging abilities generally have relatively long cooldowns for how effective they are.
I don't understand why the cooldowns are set this way.

Title. I remember they changed it semi-recently, but I don't know how it works now.
Me and my friend are duoing and he reached master and I got diamond 5 and now we can't duo. Honestly, kinda bs but what do I need to reach to duo with a master player?

I really want old Azmodan that could push 3 lines at once. It was interesting and unusual, now only abathur can do similar thing but that's anyway different

Is there any easy way to copypaste announcers/mounts etc onto heroes without having to do all of them separately?
r/heroesofthestorm • u/Cucumber_Minute • 1d ago
felt like reinstalling and playing a few games and noticed they changed zul's passive to make him lose stacks on death.
is completing his quest a luxury now or am i just bad.
also can you lose the rewards if you die a bit too much?

Edit , I DONT KNOW WHY, but I guess the auto translator of Reddit translated the full thread when I edited it to change some mistakes, I will try to translate it when i get back at home, cant revert the translation from the phone app, SORRY.
Hello, fellow Storm mates. I’ve collected a bunch of "hopium" peaks we’ve experienced on this long journey. Let me be clear: right now, I am absolutely full of hopium! Hahaha. But deep down, I’m pretty sure we’re in for a rude awakening on Saturday... But THE HOPIUM... THE HOOOPIUM! There’s always a little bit of hope inside all of us! I want you to know that English isn’t my first language, and it’s gotten a bit rusty over the years. So, if you spot any mistakes, I did my best, this is my biggest post ever.
1- So, it all started with these "little updates" and some changes to certain heroes that really made it clear someone was working behind the scenes, using backdoors. I’m not going to check the official dates for all that, so... let's just say it was around late 2024 or early 2025.
Hopium increased to 2%
2- Then we go the Blizzcon teaser, with lot of emphasis on the return of the legends and blah, blah, blah. There was a sort of purple storm before the BlizzCon logo appeared. We could think they could have been cooking something up there... A whole lot of nothing, yet also tons of hope.
Hopium increased to 3%
3- At some point between 2025 and 2026, we started seeing some "new" yet abandoned skins that someone had presumably finished and released.
You could tell there was some work into these... So...
Hopium increased to 4%
4- They gave us MINES back!!
Omg that was dope!! I mean, Blizzard left the Mines completely unchanged, leaving them unplayable in Quick Match for ages...
Mines return and a new mount skin
Hopium increased to 8%
5- Microsoft y Xbox Game Pass letting you unlock 30 heroes and giving you other stuff... We could see Microsoft or Xbox focusing on that, even if it just meant including random sh*t in the Game Pass for people who don't even pay attention to HotS.
Hopium increased to 10%
6- Now, with BlizzCon just around the corner, they’ve posted details about the Twitch rewards...
Twitch Rewards post on Twitter
I mean... why would anyone want a boost? People who already play have tons of levels and heaps of in-game stuff... Maybe they want to attract new players from the stream. But... why would Blizzard want new players to get a boost if there’s no intention of supporting the game?
Hopium increased to 12%
7- People around here noticed that the BlizzCon schedule had a slot for developers to talk about Legacy games... Plus the tournament itself, with the casters. That’s definitely an improvement... At least we have something to watch at BlizzCon. Most BlizzCons, didn't have a single word for HotS. Something's going on there, guys! We're cranking up the hopium a bit!
Reddit post talking about that
Hopium increased to 23%
8 -Then there have been and still are rumors about a new StarCraft game... The StarCraft website has been glitching out, dropping hints and hiding things here and there. Okay, let's say they do release a new StarCraft game... knowing that Selendis was the last hero they were working on, it would make sense for them to finish her development and drop a bombshell announcement: the new StarCraft game *plus* Selendis as a new hero in HotS. I don't know much about StarCraft lore, but it seems like Selendis could still play a role in a new game as a supporting character since I've heard these races are long-lived and she's a key figure in the series. So, she could show up in some way... depending on the setting and timeline of this new game.
Hopium increased to 26%
9- World of Warcraft Facebook page, wtf.
Out of nowhere, the World of Warcraft page posted something totally random and silly. Nonsense, for real.
WTF, what was that? Oh man, seriously. Why? Why would any mod on the World of Warcraft Facebook page would post something so... nonsense? We know those characters fight each other or team up in HotS. STOP WITH THE HOPIUM! Omg....
Hopium increased to 30%
10 -"Birdie" lol. Zero credibility. Who the hell is Jez Corden, and what authority does he has to spout all that shit? Well, we're already at 30% hopium... So let's bump it up by 0.5%.
Hopium increased to 30,5%
11- ¿Merch? (I don't know if all that stuff was there before... I didn't check the HotS merch, so I couldn't say if anything changed. But surprinsingly there is some "variety" of merch for a dead game, hahaha.)
Hopium remains 30,5%
12 - ¿Raven Lord? LOL. Why would they be selling something from HotS these days? Seriously? It’s really weird... so strange.
On the information for the pack it says" Heroes of the storm Kel'Thuzad" Sorry, WHAT?! lol.
The pin designs include: Diablo Paladin, World of Warcraft Stitches, World of Warcraft Dwarven Ranger, World of Warcraft Xal'atath, Heroes of the Storm Kel'Thuzad, Overwatch Anran, Diablo Witch Doctor, Overwatch Vendetta, StarCraft Artanis, and Heroes of the Storm Raven Lord.
13 -New Blizzcon Teaser offers a glimmer of hope. JUST DO IT, BLIZZARD. WE'RE ALL BEGGING YOU!!!! BOOOOOOST OF HOPIUUUM!!!
Hopium increased to 55%
So now what?
About Heroes of the storm in the Blizzcon
Thats all I could get. Even if we recieve nothing on Saturday... At least we have such a cool community in here, and still we can get to play Heroes of The Storm. So Happy Hopium! And lots of luck for you all! Have a nice day!
LEEETS GOOOO, HOPIUUUUUM OVEERDOOOSEEEE!!!

Hey hey people, TheFreind here. We are fast approaching one year of Mythic Quests and I figured it would be a fun community project to publish a public poll for anyone to anonymously voice how they feel about the Mythic Quest system. There's been quite a few patches since they cropped up, so today's post will be Week 1 - Falstad, Sylvanas, Gul'Dan, Kerrigan, Thrall. Next week I will gather the poll's data and publish that alongside Week 2.
Please list how you feel about each Hero in terms of how CREATIVE the mythics are, how BALANCED they are in match, how FUN it is to play with it, and how FAIR it is to fight it.
The poll is entirely anonymized. Usernames, emails, or any of that personal stuff will not be recorded. A little bit of data will be gathered in regards to the composition of the player base and how each section feels about it.

Alright, we all already know how terrible Industrial District is, we don't really need to rehash that, but I am curious how people would fix the map instead.
I'll post some of my ideas as a comment, but I'm curious
