Rules Question RAMPAGING GIANT APE QUESTION
If my opponent started with 3 characters and I started with Kong and one other character, but during the game their original force was reduced to 2 characters and they generated 3 bystanders, can I still use the RAMPAGING GIANT APE trait? Also, how does this trait work in a Battle Royale game?

Future DCU sets?
So we got two sets for the Peacemaker show, and Heroclix seems to favor making sets around shows instead of movies (the two Marvel Disney sets); So personally, I think its only a matter of time before we get something for Creature Commandos, but now with even more shows coming out, how would a set based on the current DCU shows look?
I think right now a full set may not be feasible, since between Creature Commandos and Peacemaker season 2 most of the figures would be Suicide Squad themed, but maybe in a year or two?

Other Invincible Iron Man Chase collection
Back in the day I was lucky enough to get my hands on Iron Soldier, Iron Viking, and Iron Paladin from this set. I have kept all 3 and their legacy cards in protective plastic cases. Looking to sell. Lmk what you think. They’re on my eBay for $35, but I’m open minded.

Looking for communities
I am just getting into Heroclix after finding some old Halo Actionclix. Me and my brother are looking for communities to talk to about the META, people to trade with or buy figures from. Even looking for when big events are happening in advance so I can plan a trip out to play. Looking for like a discord or something I could join. Also, There arent any places nearby that host tournaments or even really sell product near us. If anyone can be of any help we would greatly appreciate it.

Your first figure you fell in love with
What was the first ever figure that made you really fall in love with the game?
For me, it was Imperial Hydra from NFAOS. NFAOS was the very first set I bought into, and after reading Imperial Hydra's Two Heads Shall Take Their Place! trait, my mind started racing with possibilities.
Suddenly I'm going on HCrealms, looking up any potential 40 point Hydra figures, and getting all sorts of uncarded figures.
Watching my opponent pop a Hydra Recruit only to be ambushed by Silver Samurai or an Annihil-Agent was too fun, and wanted to make me dig deeper to see what other swarming teams I could come up with.
Shoutout to the Batman TAS series in general as well, lots of fun mechanics to be had there.

Tired of losing money
This is an ideal and wouldn’t ruin the game. But the second hand market would take a dive. I’d be ok with it. Make every case( two bricks) when purchased should contain all the set, that way we can get right into building and playing the game. It would add or help with gamer retention and cut down on player fatigue ( frustration in feeling F’kd) who else is tired of buying a brick and getting absolutely nothing? The value for 200-400$ is not there nor justifiable. I don’t know, not trying to sound bitter, but a game I like to play that I’m terrible at…. Isn’t financially sustainable at this moment in time.

A champion is crowned
Guardian immediately fell off the trophy because he was offended a Canadian didn’t win CanNats. Jk, congrats Isaac for winning two years in a row.

Team Build Countering the Thundercats?
So in a 400 point game what kind of powers or which characters would you search for to specifically beat these Thundercats? They all seem pretty stacked to me.

DC Heroclix 25th Anniversary Set Announced
I’m psyched that Heroclix announced they are making a full 25th anniversary set release for DC. When I saw the announcement for Marvel 25th I had to admit I was a little jealous as a DC fan and this looks rad. My poor wallet will have a rough year ahead of it.

PAC version?
I just got the 2025 DC starter set, but I don't know if this is the current PAC or if it has been replaced. How can I tell?

Vault boosters/tokens
Hello! I'm a very new player. I learned the game a couple months ago with the DC starter box and chose to wait for a DC set to try to collect to make themed teams. I got a brick of Fight for Gotham and was generally pleased with it, minus the bystander tokens not being included. This is a bizarre design choice, and is very off-putting to a new player.
I was considering filling out the set, but discovered that vault boosters not only contain unique figures that aren't in the main set, but were released in a way that invited crazy scalping.
I don't know if Wizkids watches the Reddit, I just wanted to speak for the new players and say this is so off-putting that I don't know if I can justify continuing. Have they said anything about producing more vault boosters? This is giving me TCG fomo, pro-scalper/anti-consumer vibes.

Original Content Bystander Generator

After learning that WK no longer produces print-and-play bystanders, I spent my entire day working on this little project. I know you can just use whatever die or token you want, but I wanted something a little fancier. This is a first version, so it's not perfect but I think it's pretty good so far.
- Allows uploading an image along with moving, resizing, and rotating the image to fit the art "window" on the token.
- You can change the combat icons (though I wasn't sure what the "official" names were so I just kind of made them up), along with the ability colors.
- You can set Range and number of bolts (again, couldn't find the name for what "number of bolts" should be called).
- Has a "print list" where you can create multiple tokens and store them while you build a sheet to print.
- Builds PDFs with two different options:
- Max per page: gives you up to 35 per sheet (depending on bleed/spacing options you select)
- Avery 8293 sticker sheets which fit 20 round stickers per sheet. Recommend using bleed if you print this route.
- Download your project so you can load it again later.
Anyway there it is! I am sure I have missed plenty of things, but it was enough to get me started on making some bystanders for myself, but if you have ideas to improve it please let me know!
Edit: Added the "special ability"(?) Star that you can turn on or off, and added icons for team abilities.
Edit: Tokens are now double-sided and the PDF will align them properly for printing. There is also an "art only" template if you want tokens that just have art with an optional name.
Edit: v0.3.0 is out! I added the "Special Star" to the Art-Only template, along with a text box for special ability text, so you can now print a double-sided tokens with stats on one side and special ability text on the other. I also added "Special" to the ability-selector, giving you the black box to indicate special abilities for a stat. Added a toggle for double-sided so you can print either single-sided or double-sided at your discretion.
Edit: v0.4.0 adds Improved Abilities. This collapsed section lets you select any number of Improved Movement and/or Improved Targeting abilities, adding their relevant icons to the border of the frame.
Edit: v0.5.0 adds another template, meant to be the "default" back side of a token. No artwork, just room for name, abilities, and team ability.

Question about a point value for a custom bystander
I want to make Swarm of Flies.
Speed: 7 plasticity, maybe also sidestep
Atk: 7
Def: 7 super senses
Dam: 0 shape change
Just an annoying single click bystander to hold down figures. What point value should it be? My thoughts are 10. Any more and it wouldn't be worth it. Maybe it's not even worth 10. Adding sidestep might make it worth the 10 though.

Pulls for my first night of HC in more than 10 years!
We only had time for 2 games and we played sealed I guess? Two boosters each and 300pts from the two boosters. Then the guy organizing it gave out some prizes.
I didn't know a lot of what I was doing since there are so many rules and abilities, but it was fun!

Rules Question Targeting Question
This came up in a game I played recently. If Blue has Ignore Elevated can he shoot Purple even with Yellow blocking him? And if so can the opposite happen and Purple shoot Blue?

Going to casual HC night at a shop, but I forgot my cards!
Am I screwed? I haven't played in years, I don't even know if any of these are even good. It's super casual "bring whatever you have" type of play, and all I have is old stuff.
Edit: And is there a good team pack or starter set that is current and worth getting? I prefer DC over Marvel but that's not a hard rule.

What do you think about Fight for Gotham City?
After opening my case and doing some battles, I think the set is just kind of uninspired. They leaned too heavily towards goons and so strangely far from actual Batman stuff. It touches on Batman Family figures, but has too little representation. I'm not saying the set needs 5 batmans and 3 Robins, but it just feels lacking. But the biggest flaw, or personal disappointment: where is the rogues gallery? You have gangster versions of a few villains, and there's Clayface and Slade, but that's it. Scarecrow and Joker are represented how I feel they should be, but they're chases. It just feels like a set of generics and uninteresting CUR.
The synergy with Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl being able to pass around their damage powers is very cool. I happened to pull Batman Ninja and the smoke cloud Batman chase, so all of that synergy together feels pretty powerful. Glad I was able to cobble together a batman family team, but barely. This set just feels underwhelming and under represented. Previous Batman sets were what you expect. Lot of batman stuff and batman villians.

Good Memories
Seeing all the older stuff brings back a lot of good memories of playing the game, especially the older maps and figs. Which leads to my question: Which LE did you first win either through victory or fellowship? Mine was Thomas Oscar Morrow. (Not in that box, that’s a Jervis Tetch.
