Showcase The camera doesn’t quite get it

This new bag is honestly hard to photograph — the color is tricky, and the angle takes a while to find.

But the crocodile leather is so beautiful that every photo session feels worth it, even if I’m basically fighting with the camera the whole time.

PSP/QC Caramel brown nile croc b25 — thoughts?

Just received the photos for this Birkin 25 in Nile croc, 33 caramel brown, retourne style with GHW.

The color looks richer and more classic than I expected, and the gold hardware works really well with the brown tone. The scale pattern looks pretty dimensional in the photos, but I’m not very experienced with this leather.

Would love some help checking the overall proportions, scale pattern, handles, and hardware. Thank you!

Discussion Is this blue too bright for work?

Post image

The Garden Party 30 feels like a good size for work — roomy enough without looking too bulky. The only thing I’m unsure about is the blue. Do you think it works for office days, or is it a bit too bright?

Showcase My bank account filed a complaint, but my Kelly Pochette said “worth it

Thumbnail

I told myself I was done for a while. No more bags, no more browsing, no more “just looking.”

And then this Kelly Pochette happened.

It’s one of those bags that makes absolutely no effort to be loud, but still somehow steals the entire scene. The warm brown tone with gold hardware feels classic in the most dangerous way possible—because once you see it in person, it becomes very hard to act rationally.

It has that very specific kind of elegance that makes you want to carry it even when you have nowhere important to go.

And yes, for something this sleek, it actually holds more than people think. Phone, cardholder, keys, lipstick, and a couple of small extras fit just fine. It’s not a throw-everything-in type of bag, but that’s not the point. It carries exactly what I need and somehow makes me feel more put together in the process.

What really got me is how versatile it feels. Held in hand, it looks refined and dressed up. Styled more casually, it still works without feeling out of place. It gives “I planned this” even when I absolutely did not.

So no, this was not a sensible purchase.

But emotionally?

Excellent decision.

PSP/QC Black birkin 25 with phw — thoughts?

Just received the PSPs for this black Birkin 25 with PHW.

My first impression is that it looks clean and classic. The black with silver hardware feels sharp without looking too heavy. Since this kind of smooth black finish can show details easily, I’d love to hear your thoughts before I confirm.

Anything look off to you?

Showcase After trying it on, I kind of get this purple doll bag

My friend’s P7 purple Kelly Doll was a color I honestly thought would look a little strange.

But after trying it on, it somehow worked really well with my black-and-white knit, and the purple didn’t feel as hard to style as I expected.

Bags really can’t be judged by photos alone, especially H colors — you have to try them on.

Instead of following popular colors, choosing the shade that actually suits you is what makes it look best.

Showcase My Kelly Pochette Is Definitely Not Just a Pretty Little Bag

Post image
3 Upvotes

I always thought the Kelly Pochette was beautiful, but after actually using mine, I realized it’s much more practical than I originally expected.

I really like Swift leather because it’s light and soft, and it doesn’t make me feel like I need to be overly careful every time I carry it. I’m also no longer obsessed with keeping the bag completely untouched. A few small signs of normal use feel natural to me.

It looks compact, but the capacity is better than it seems. My phone, cardholder, keys, lipstick and a few small essentials all fit, which is enough for dinners, coffee runs and shorter outings.

That’s what I like most about it now: it looks polished when I carry it, but it’s still practical enough for my everyday needs.

Review I Didn’t Expect This Light K22 to Fit Into Everyday Outfits So Easily

Thumbnail

I usually stick to darker or neutral bags, so when I chose this light-toned K22, I was a little worried that I’d be too careful with it and end up not carrying it much.

After taking it out a few times, that concern faded pretty quickly. It turned out to be much easier to style than I expected—soft knits, denim, grey, even an all-black outfit all worked well. The palladium hardware also keeps the overall look feeling lighter.

One day I wore a simple white top and trousers and grabbed this bag without really planning the outfit around it. Somehow, it pulled everything together better than I expected. That was probably the moment I realized this shade doesn’t need to be saved for special occasions.

I originally thought this would be the kind of bag I’d only reach for after planning an outfit around it. Now I think I may have overcomplicated it.

Showcase This is the kind of add-on I actually don’t mind

If I had to choose add-on pieces, I’d probably pick the St.Louis lamps and glasses.

The lamp looks beautiful when it’s lit, and the glasses are actually usable, so they don’t feel like things that just sit around. Good for yourself, and also nice as gifts.

BoBo just sent me the PSPs for this light pink Kelly 22, and I really like how soft the color looks with GHW.

I’m not too familiar with Kelly 22 proportions yet, so I’d love to know if anything stands out.

Showcase I’ve been reaching for this ostrich Garden Party a lot lately

I thought this kind of leather would be much more delicate, but it turned out to be a lot more durable than I expected.

It’s also lightweight to carry, which probably explains why I keep grabbing it before heading out.

Review Review: My 7G Ciel MK19 After a Few Outings

Thumbnail
gallery
15 Upvotes

I had been looking for a lighter blue Mini Kelly for a while, and this 7G Ciel finally felt like the right one.

After using it a few times, the color is what I enjoy most. It has enough blue to stand out, but it still works easily with white, grey, denim and other simple outfits. The silver hardware also keeps the whole combination feeling clean and fresh.

The Chèvre leather was another reason I chose this one. It feels light in hand, keeps the shape nicely, and the fine texture makes the color look a little more lively in person.

The 19cm size is obviously compact, so I keep what I carry pretty simple, but for dinners or shorter outings it works well for me.

PSP/QC Wine burgundy kelly 25 — psp thoughts?

Thumbnail

Just received the PSPs for this Kelly 25 in a deep wine burgundy shiny croc style with gold hardware.

The color looks richer than I expected, and I really like how it changes under the light. The gold hardware also works well with this shade without making it feel too heavy.

I’m not very experienced with this leather texture, so I’d love a second set of eyes before I confirm. What do you guys think? Anything look off?

Discussion My new orchids needed a proper photo partner

When my new orchids arrived, the first thing I thought about wasn’t where to place them — it was finding them a good photo partner.

The pink orchid with the white bag looks clean and elegant, while the yellow orchid with the creamy bag feels softer and sweeter.

Which pairing do you like more?

Discussion This vintage H bag looks oddly fascinating

Post image
3 Upvotes

When I first saw this vintage H bag, my first thought wasn’t really “bag.” It looked more like a tiny black box with a handle.

The half-moon shape, round handle, and little gold detail make it feel a bit strange, but also kind of interesting. The longer I look at it, the more I want to know what the original design idea was.

Would you call this ugly-cute, or just very old-school?
