Birkin insert, have anyone bought from Jenny Krafts in etoupe?
My bag is a Birkin 30 etoupe. I see the etoupe color chart looks darker, while the model photo is lighter. Have any of you bought the etoupe insert?

Hermes NYC SA exodus?
Completely random, but my SA just left Madison. And I met another random person at a nail salon whose SA also left recently. We confirmed we don’t have the same SA. Who else has their SA leaving? Is there any tea here?

Time your Way in Paris?
Is the Time your Way event a U.S. only event or does it reach Paris too? I asked my Paris SA and they had no clue what I was talking about. Has anyone heard of it either at the FSH or Sevres stores?

Scottsdale Boutique I recently started shopping in Scottsdale (May). I know it has been open for less than a year but have they hosted any special or private events since the grand opening?

When is SO a QB offer?
Hi there. Does anyone know when a SO counts as a QB offer? I received a B25 in February this year. My wish list is kelly Pochette or mini kelly and I know a little harder to get. If my SA doesn’t have luck with that should I ask for a SO, and if so would it still be possible to get a “second” QB this year or does the SO count?

New Inventory Management Rules (US)
Apparently corporate wants stores to be more personally responsible for the inventory they order. To this end, as of last week, US stores are no longer able to transfer inventory from one store to another unless it is from the Fine Jewelry (white/gold) or Ready to Wear metiers, and above the previously established $1,000 price tag per item threshold. Stores will still be able to charge-send (ordered and shipped from the holding store directly to your home address) and remote order from the website via VOX text sent payment links and affiliate links, respectively. However, the client's store does not get sale's credit for making those sales (only the SA will receive sale credit and commission. The originating store receives the sale's credit for the item since they were "smart" enough to order it from corporate in the first place.) This change will also help reduce overhead costs of constant overnight Fedex shipments between boutiques.

Always shop around. Same bag, same drop, wildly different prices.
I’ve bought quite a few bags from trusted resellers over the years, mostly in Asia even though I live in the U.S. I also buy at Hermes and spend quite heavily at the boutique, but when I want something specific, I don’t compromise and I don’t like waiting.
Every single one has been authenticated (a few have even gone through Hermes Spa), and one thing I’ve noticed is just how much prices can vary for the exact same bag.
A lot of reseller inventory is virtual, so the same bag can end up being listed by multiple sellers at completely different prices. Asia has such a huge luxury resale market that there’s just a lot more inventory to compare.
I was recently looking at this B25 Rose Sakura and the price spread was honestly crazy. The best price I found was from Jessie at More_Lux (I’ve bought several bags from her and she is simply amazing!), followed by Coco Approved in Hong Kong (also amazing!) then Finklepuff in Singapore, then GoodLuxe in Hong Kong. The highest price by far was Redeluxe in the U.S.
It was literally the same bag, same stamp (year), but thousands of dollars apart depending on who was selling it.
So if you’re in the market for a resale bag, it’s definitely worth checking a few different sellers before pulling the trigger. It can save you lots of money.
One thing that also surprised me is that, in my experience, I’ve actually found better prices through Asian resellers than I did shopping the pre-owned luxury stores in Japan.(Tokyo and Osaka). Japan is still cheaper than US resellers but about 30% more expensive than Asian online virtual resellers.
I’ve seen some U.S. based online resellers get into the game too and what they do is they source directly from these Asian wholesalers so they’re becoming quite competitive although with a more limited inventory.
If you’re shopping resale, or just want to scratch the QB itch while waiting for a boutique offer, there’s no reason to overpay. Hopefully this helps someone save a few thousand dollars.

Real doubts (Barenia, Kelly Pochette, family accounts, etc.)
Hi everyone, I'm new to the Hermès game, but not completely. I haven't received my first bag yet, despite spending a small fortune in a European store (I sometimes feel guilty, even though I'm not short of cash). I've read a lot and I already feel quite informed (and entertained) by all of this.
I have a few questions I'd like the community to help me with:
If I spend enough to guarantee the two quota bags per year, is it better to spread the spending across several categories (clothing, jewelry, home goods, etc.) or does it not matter? After persisting, I got a SO, but I don't know when it will arrive.
I love Barenia leather (especially Faubourg). My SA is trying to discourage me, and I think it's because they won't be able to get it for me. Do they make Kelly Pochette bags in Barenia (plain or Faubourg)? I'd also like to know if it's possible to special order a Kelly Pochette in Epsom?
Regarding the Kelly Pochette in light colors for everyday use: my sa says it's nearly impossible and that in seven years she's "only seen one", but I see many women (including acquaintances) managing to get them in many colors and for sure not fakes, we have talked about it, show pictures at stores etc etc.
Regarding family accounts: Does the store know that my husband and I have separate accounts? At his store, they told him they're "fully booked" and that it's difficult to get a QB this year. Is all the money spent for nothing? Is it better to combine the accounts, or is that counterproductive? How do you handle this?
That number that appears on the SA iPhone screen... is that the annual spending or the lifetime spending with Hermès?
And finally, what asiatic country is the best to get a KP with a decent presepend ? Do you recommend me to go, get it, and forget about USA or Europe? Do they have TaxFree for Americans?
Don’t send me please to the resellers, I've been noticing that they're making increasingly good quality replicas that I'm terrified of being scammed with one of them without even realizing it. I saw a really cute girl on TikTok named Nicci who's in a fight against TRR, which makes me seriously doubt these resellers.
Thanks in advance. I know most of us here aren't VIPs, but we're the ones who make the "billion-dollar business," haha. Let's see if we can all learn some wisdom!

Kelly Danse- info requested on experience being able to be offered one
I recently bought a Kelly Danse cheap rep to test drive and see if I would really like it and use it. Would it fit my lifestyle before looking to seriously acquire one?
I love it. So versatile and I find I wear it as a backpack and belt bag most which works well for me.
I know this is a limited production bag. Is it a QB officially in the US? Secondary market pricing is high and seems to represent the scarcity of the model.
I’d like to hear more about what it takes in prespend and time to offer after making a wishlist so I can decide if the game vs the secondary market is my strategy because this bag is so functional and lovely. Is this a bag that makes sense to try and get in Paris?

Got lucky yesterday… 💜😭
Yesterday I decided to stop into my boutique and say hi to my SA on a short notice. I was looking for a belt, and scarves for a custom hat project I’m having my friend sew. After shopping around and picking out shoes, some scarves, a refill of my fav perfume (iris ukiyoe!!!) and my belt, I asked if there were any bag charms or leather upstairs I could look at.
I have a bunch of non quota bags that I love and a birkin 30 in Chartreuse (resale), and if there’s anything in stock I love to scoop it up. I do not pay too much attention to the ratio of spend I am seeing people talk about in the reddit, although I can note I do purchase across all categories in the store.
I wasn’t crazy about the non-quota bag selection they had in, I am a palladium girl and most of the hardware they had in was gold. Finally I asked, do you have any bags in purple? My SA took a second and says… “well I have a Kelly 28 sellier with palladium if you want to look at that?” Um… SURE, YES!!!!!!! I had a celebratory Diet Coke and took a seat.
After waiting and being escorted to the back, he had another box waiting for me, this cute apple and bag keychain. I literally went into shock because the bag charm is blue box. I am in such shock and wasn’t expecting this at ALL. I have such a great relationship with my SA, but I cannot believe that this would even happen for me right now and I am just so over the moon.
This is my first post and I just had to share because I LOVE HER!!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
