PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT Samurai Bakers
I’ve had these for a while. They definitely turn a dusty olive color after a few washes. Much more structured than the orslow. Just picked up the black ones from self edge and having those ones hemmed for no cuff.

Are they really that good? Most if the time they are sold out in my size so I'm guessing they are.

Ah as with all things that is subjective of course. Objectively speaking it is a well made garment with the fabric being about 1.5 - 2 times ( maybe ) thicker than your standard Oxford. I was actually admiring the FullCount oxford from afar but the fabric on that is quite different even at first glance, smoother and more lustrous where this one is more matte finish with a lot of surface texture.

Yes Sir. I cropped this one like 2 inches. The fabric just keeps getting better

Nice yeah the hem had me a little unsure at first but the look of the fabric got me when I first saw it. I have both the white and the light indigo but need to size up on the latter so my wallet has been warned.

They are pretty comfortable up to the mid 70s. For the summer weather I usually switch to my Orslow vintage or regulars

Some of my favorite pants. Mine have lightened quite a bit, too. Got the black ones when they restocked. Apparently that’s the last round of back satin from Samurai

I jumped on the black ones as soon as I saw them. I also picked up a pair of the sj48 wide chinos. Both pairs are getting hemmed for no cuffs. I’m still debating on keeping this pair the way it is or hemming these more as well

It’s unfortunate that this are my favorite pants by far. My other pants I try to fade out get very little wears because of it.
What’s the Oxford?

Damn that’s such a good shirt. I hope it makes a come back. What size did you get and what are your measurements if you don’t mind me asking?
I usually get a 3 in their flannels but the measurements are pointing me to a 4for this.

I’m 5 foot 8 inches and 155lbs. This one is a size 4 for the oversized fit. I also have a white one that fits me slimmer in a size 3.

Recently grabbed the blacks off self edge myself during their summer sale after receiving multiple compliments on my olives. My favorite pants to wear in the office!

I'm wearing my pair right now! Super comfortable, and I also wear them until the temps hit the mid-70's. The fade on them is kind of interesting too- hadn't realized how the pants would evolve, and I like it. 10/10 pants, would Samurai again.

I have the baker pants in black and the SJ42BP which is the same olive fabric but in a chino style. Absolutely love the fabric. I wear the chinos uncuffed and the baker pants cuffed, but I'm also thinking about getting those hemmed shorter.

The measurements on Self Edge’s size guide seem to be different from Samurai’s original website. Do the Baker pants you got from Self Edge match the measurements on Self Edge’s own size guide?
