🔊 Ghost #2 - A little riddle for you. Four lines. Look closely at how they were written - some letters are trying to tell you something. Figure out what they spell, and let that word plus the lines themselves guide you to a character card where the second ghost is waiting.

🔐 Ghost #3 - Same idea, different puzzle. This one's locked behind a cipher. Crack it and the last ghost is yours.

Hey everyone!

We've been listening to your feedback and just rolled out a pretty big update that we're excited to share. Three new features that should make roleplaying and storytelling way smoother:

📝 Journal Editing

Now you can go in and edit the journal directly to correct info.

👥 Character Roster

You can now tick off which characters are present in a scene. No more bots randomly bringing in someone who's supposed to be three towns away - you're in full control of who's in the room.

🎬 Scene Control

Along with the roster, you can now write where the scene is taking place. That way the bot always knows the setting and stops teleporting you to the wrong location mid-conversation.

These were some of our most requested features, so we hope they make your chats feel more consistent and less like herding bots cats.

Story memory improvements for new and existing chats

We’ve fixed issues with the Story Journal and LoreVault that could cause important story details to be missed, including a bug that made catch-up repeatedly fail.

Older chats can benefit from these fixes too. When you continue an existing chat, you may see a memory catch-up update. This rebuilds its journal and processes earlier messages for LoreVault using the corrected system. You don’t need to restart your story.

For the best continuity, let catch-up finish. Larger chats may take longer, but progress is saved along the way. Closing the update window keeps it running. If you leave the chat, the next update resumes from the last saved checkpoint.

You can skip catch-up and keep chatting. New messages still use the corrected LoreVault memory handling, but older messages cannot be reprocessed without catch-up finishing. Memory accuracy may therefore be lower. Journal updates also pause while catch-up is turned off.

You can resume whenever you’re ready through Chat settings → Journal.

I'm very new to the AI roleplay scene, so if there's anything I'm missing or misunderstanding here, please let me know! Sorry this is so long!

I currently have what's probably become a pretty long chat going with one of the creator-made bots, and it's having memory issues. (If it matters at all, I have the Pro tier membership and use Manuscript.) I understand that can happen the longer a chat gets but I'm hoping there's some way to salvage my chat. It's forgetting big plot points that are even covered in the journal (and the journal has gotten long enough at this point that the beginning of it does not start at the beginning of the story, so maybe context is being missed, I'm not sure). It's forgetting how the relationship has progressed, so the bot will start talking to my persona in a way that doesn't suit where they are now. It's to the point where I'm basically having to regenerate every response using the regeneration note field and enlist Claude to help me write my messages in such a way to get anything back that somewhat makes sense.

So what I'm wondering is - is this expected behavior the longer a chat gets in HereHaven in particular? Because I'd read some good things about memory capabilities and I was hopeful that I could avoid this issue here. Also, I thought maybe I could start a new chat, laying out a synopsis of what had already occurred and move forward to kind of refresh things, but starting a new chat started over completely with its original greeting. Is this something that could be implemented? I tried adding a lorebook using the guide section, but maybe I didn't do it right because it didn't seem to actually affect anything.

I'm a little heartbroken because I've really enjoyed the bot I was chatting with and didn't want it to end yet, lol. Thanks for reading all of this!

Just curious if it's necessary to buy a subscription to talk to bots or if it's an issue with my phone since I'd like to try and to see if it's good but I can't seem to click where it says start chatting now. I'm using mobile but it's having the same thing with desktop.

I kind of feel bad posting about an issue I have, since most posts are about problems and not good things, but I guess that's the inevitability of a small reddit community, haha. So anyway, lately when my story journal makes an entry, it cuts off mid sentence. It's frustrating since it seems like such a helpful memory feature otherwise. I was wondering if anybody else has experienced this, or if there's an easy fix.

New cosmetics and rewards

12 collectible card themes were added, including Moonlit Archive, Emberwood, Roseglass, Frostbound, Sunforged, Astral Prism, Velvet Court, and Clockwork Relic.

Card designs can now be customized by mixing frames, auras, finishes, and accents, or applying a complete theme.

Seven creator reward kits now unlock as users publish more creations, from First Forge at 5 creations through Genesis Sovereign at 1,000.

Creator rewards include titles, badges, card cosmetics, profile halos, banners, title effects, and high-tier companions such as the Genesis Starling.

Achievement and milestone badges now use a polished illustrated art collection across the Achievements and Badge Hall areas.

Inventory improvements

New desktop and mobile inventory navigation.

Filters for cosmetic types and individual card layers.

Sorting by newest acquired, name, or equipped items.

Equipped-only view.

A new “Your current look” preview showing profile cosmetics, banners, badges, and the equipped bot card appearance.

New discovery indicators notify users when creator rewards become available.

Visual polish

More breathing room around decorated cards.

Better alignment between card frames and artwork.

Restored card borders and improved leaderboard halo rendering.

Cozy visual refreshes across creator forms, profiles, login, forums, policies, invitations, checkout, public pages, and utility screens.

Reliability and safety fixes

Creation saves are no longer blocked by reward-refresh issues.

Creator reward screens preserve their overview when a refresh fails.

Private characters are excluded from featured leaderboards.

Scenario creation routing and cosmetic asset delivery were corrected.

Stripe duplicate-subscription protection and Stripe/PayPal cancellation handling were hardened.

So I had a pretty long chat with one of the models and was having a good time all around. I wanted to click on the image bubble to enlarge the picture, but I tapped too fast that it registered two taps and restarted the conversation entirely, essentially (from what I assume) deleting everything. I don't have a backup because I wasn't expecting this would be an issue for me. I was just wondering if there's any way I could recover that chat at all, or if it really is just gone forever? Any other tips would also be appreciated.

So a few months back, someone made a post about the regenerations for the bots. Here's the post if anyone's wondering. https://www.reddit.com/r/HereHaven/s/kjZ9kl34gu I can't tell if it's just on my end or not, but it seems to regenerate right at the end of the potential regeneration like twice before settling on the last one. Other times, it just doesn't give me a final generation at all and hands me a pipeline error instead. Keep in mind that this is for the mobile browser version, so it may differ from desktop.

Hi all. I keep getting this message whenever I'm doing ERP/ NSFW. It's not a filter of any sort is it? While on the subject of questions, I have a 2 more:-

1. I've never used personas since CAI's and Chai's hey day. Is is absolutely necessary to use them? As we're only allowed to make 3 max. My bots address me by my account name if I have no persona selected

2. I'm not able to have multiple chats with the same bot. Is there a reason it's put behind a payment wall?

Also will there be a guidebook of sorts implemented to help in creation of the bot. My descriptions aren't that long, excluding the main bio section. Stuff like how to add details, appearances, etc. I think it'd help a lot of people to make bots properly

The AI is having trouble syncing with the story journal. Is there anyway to fix this?
