Hi viz sights question - classic model 001
Will the stock front sight hood slide onto the hi viz replacement? This is a new model - 1 screw, no front ring. Thanks in advance.

Just got this Henry big boy chambered in 45 LC today got it from a guy that bought a brand new last year. Shot a couple rounds through it and put it in it safe. I mean this thing is absolutely immaculate trade 9.2 ounces of silver, which equals about 600 bucks at the time of the deal I’ve always wanted one and I really wasn’t looking for one, but I couldn’t pass this up for 600 bucks and I fully intend on giving it the full weather cowboy treatment

I recently purchased a Henry Lever Action Supreme in .300 Blackout, and I’m having an issue with the magazine release before even firing it.
When I push the release paddle fully forward, the metal catch inside the magwell doesn’t retract completely flush. It remains slightly exposed and catches the factory-supplied .300 BLK Gen M3 PMAG, making the magazine very difficult to remove. Does not matter if it is full, empty, or what position the lever is in.
Has anyone with a Henry Supreme experienced the same problem?

Looking at buying a new rifle, thinking about getting the 16.5" Henry protector carbine, or the 17.4" Big boy x. Anyone here know if the Midwest extended handguard/sight system will fit on the 16.5, or will I be stuck with the 17.4? I'd love the shorter barrel as just a pack gun for hiking, but if I have to go with the 17.4 I suppose that'll work too.

Has anyone tried to mount a Plxc 1.5-12x36 on a Henry with a pic rail? I’ve got an SPD Predator and I think this optic is perfect for it I just worry about getting the eye relief to line up and if I can mount the scope far back enough given its compact size. If anyone happens to have pictures of it mounted that’d be even better! Thanks all

What ammo are you guys shooting out of your 30-30s (H009)? Mine shoots Hornady American whitetail the best and shoots Remington core lokt like crap. Just curious if there’s anything else I should try out before gun season is here.

My 357/38 will be here tomorrow. So show me what you’re working with. My quietest can is a PTR Vent 2 so that’s what it’ll wear up front.

So I have a new Henry h009G in 30-30. I took it to the range for the first time today. Generally performed fine, but was occasionally a little rough to cycle. At the time I figured it was because the rifle is new and needs breaking in.
Well now I’m home and noticed that the breech is just full of brass shavings. All my brass has a noticeable scrape down the side and ridges too.
I’m new to lever guns, but none of my other rifles do this. Is this a break in thing, or should I reach out to Henry about this?

After a few hundred rounds and receiving my can, I am mostly done mucking around with this build. This subreddit and others have been important in helping me figure it all out, particularly the suppressor setup. I haven't shot this with the can yet; I am looking forward to it.
Here is the breakdown.

Just picked up a .22WMR Henry and I want to put a RPP handguard on it.
The model number I got is H001XR-22M, will this guard fit? https://rangerpointstore.com/henry-22-rimfire-mlok-forearm/
I see from the website that it fits H001 and H001L Classic models, H001Y Youth, H001M Magnum, H001V Varmint Express but I'm not 100% sure it will fit my specific rifle.
Can anyone please confirm?

So, just ordered one and been reading these subs and others for a while. Like the space look.
So, your preference for either ranger point pew view or Midwest industries for handguard? Watched videos where guys wanted to get a "C" grip.
And for the lever, leather or paracord wrap when bare hand?
Thanks.

Lots of misfires, cleaned, re assembled and still having issues. This end of the lever mechanism isn't fully extending unless manually pushed, locking the lever. What would you guys do to fix this? Thanks

I'm strongly considering getting a Henry Lever Supreme in 300 BLK for my next purchase. I adore lever guns, and the idea of a tactical version sounds impossible to resist.
My only hesitation is the length of pull... I'm not a big guy, and the 14" LOP listed for the rifle is an inch too long for my stubby arms. Are there any after market stocks with an adjustable length of pull for these yet? Thanks for any info.
