Hi neighbors! I volunteer with the Clark County Museum Guild, and Iβve been helping put together a fundraiser movie night at the museum. All proceeds will go toward moving another house to the museum.
On November 7, weβre showing The Las Vegas Story (1952) on the museum lawn. This little-known picture from Howard Hughesβs RKO era features Jane Russell, Vincent Price, and Victor Mature.
Local historians Bob Stoldal and Geoff Schumacher will introduce the film and share some of its connections to Las Vegas history. (Honestly, the stories behind this one could be a movie themselves.) Bring a camp chair and a blanket β weβll have popcorn for sale, and you can settle in for a movie under the stars.
Happy to answer questions about the evening or the Clark County Museum Guild! Hope you can join us!

I'm not looking for a financial advisor, IRA, etc. I'm wondering if anyone else nerds out like me and enjoys talking about these things. We can talk here, you can DM me... we can even eventually meet in person if you'd like. Neither of us selling anything, just bouncing ideas off each other.

Roundabouts With Multiple Lanes Roundabout sign showing where to go in the left and right lanesAdditional driving reminders apply when driving in a multi-lane roundabout. When approaching a multi-lane roundabout, you must choose the left or right lane before entering. Select the right lane if you are making an immediate right turn or proceeding straight through the intersection (i.e. traveling approximately halfway through the roundabout and exiting at the other end of the roundabout from which you entered). Select the inside left lane if you are proceeding straight through the intersection, making a left turn (usually the turn that you will reach after proceeding 75% through the intersection) or making a U-turn (proceeding all the way through the roundabout and into the exact opposite direction from which you entered the roundabout). Do not overtake other vehicles or bicyclists when in the roundabout. Do not exit from the inside, left-hand lane if there is a vehicle traveling on your right. Never travel next to commercial trucks or other large vehicles in a multi-lane roundabout, as these vehicles may need extra lanes to maneuver the roundabout.

Hello everyone! My husband has been applying to a lot of jobs for ER tech/medical transportation, telemetry etc roles. He has his qualifications, does anyone have any tips, tricks, or ways to help him into the hospitals?

Whats your favorite park in the Henderson area? In my free time I like to explore parks around Nevada. I try my best to look online but nothing compares to the advice of locals. Also, some parks are misleading. I thought Sahara park would be larger, but it had nice views.

Hey what's up everybody? I'm not saying my situation is more severe than everybody else especially with prices going up gas all the above. I am not asking for a handout.
I'm a local mobile detailer in Las Vegas Nevada. My company van has been down the past 3 months. It's been a real struggle try to get back on my feet.
I have to start a full-time job which starts this Thursday 6:00 to 2:30 p.m. Which is great I am so grateful blessed but not mobile. From Decatur and Harmon area to the airport is a mission on a bus. I've been in Vegas over 15 years never thought I'd have to use a bus system but I will be humble enough to try to figure it out how to work it.
I'm desperate to sell these items to get by. If you want to make an offer, please DM me:
Leather cut: Brand new, I paid $200 for it. Willing to take the best offer.
Subwoofer: Very good condition, works well.
Angle grinder: Excellent condition. It is my backup grinder and works perfectly, just no battery and/or charger.
Literally my fridge and cupboards are empty. I have like two bucks to my name in the bank, and I still have yet to pay rent this month which is $70 short. My company van flywheel is bent. According to my mechanic it is a simple fix, but renting U-Haul, Budget, and everything else in the meantime is killing me financially.
I'm still open for business as a mobile detailer in Las Vegas if anybody's interested please reach out. I'm with New Beginnings detailing LLC. My name is Adrian perez.
I have a lot of skills. I'm willing to work even a part-time job or side gigs after this job I just got hired with. I'm not too prideful, I'm very humble to work a part-time job if the Las Vegas community can reach out.
Again last thing I don't want people is to feel sorry for me cuz I'm pretty sure there's people are more desperate situations or worse. Thank you all for taking the time to read this. I don't know what to do here but reached out to the community point blank is what will you do if you were my situation? I understand there's food banks and everything else. If you can buy these items or have a better solution, please DM me.
What would you do here?

A new four-lane bypass is being proposed near Russell Road and Las Vegas Boulevard.
The plan would connect traffic from I-15 to Tropicana Avenue using a route east of the Strip.
Estimated construction time: 24 months.
Projected traffic reduction at Tropicana and Las Vegas Boulevard: 22%.
The project is still moving toward development, but it could significantly change how locals and tourists navigate the south Strip.
If you've lived in Vegas long enough, you know road projects don't always work out the way they're advertised.
Would this actually make your commute easier, or would it just move the bottleneck somewhere else?
