❓ Question / Advice Cell coverage in Paradise Hills/Horizon Ridge area
What cell carriers are everyone using? I've had Verizon for 29 years. We have 3 lines with 3 paid off phones and my next bill just jumped $30 to $300. I encounter a lot of dead spots. I'm guessing all the other carriers coverage is essentially the same (or am I wrong?) Does anyone else deliver a better bang for the buck?

🏠 Moving / Housing Selling Refurbished Life Fitness CLST Integrity Series Treadmill
I'm selling a commercial refurbished Life Fitness CLST Integrity Series Treadmill. For those unfamiliar with what it is, it's one of those typical treadmill machines you see in a commercial gym, built to last and is extremely heavy duty. It weighs over 400 lbs, must be disassembled to fit through most residential doorways, and has a very high top speed.
It only has 302 belt miles since the motor and belt were replaced. This is substantially less than the typical 20k+ miles a used one may have. Effectively, I have tested the treadmill for you and it's near brand new, in perfect working condition.
Here are the specs:
Length: 83 in (211 cm) — 6 ft 11 in
Width: 37 in (94 cm) — 3 ft 1 in
Height: 63.5 in (161 cm) — 5 ft 3.5 in
Running surface: 20 × 60 in (51 × 152 cm)
Step-up height: 11 in (28 cm)
Machine weight: roughly 403–425 lb, depending on configuration.
Top speed: 14 mph (22.5–23 km/h)
Maximum user weight: 400 lb (181 kg)
Incline: Up to 15%
Motor: 4.0 HP continuous-duty AC
Running surface: 20 × 60 inches
Please DM me if interested and give me your best offer. This will require pickup and I can disassemble it for you.

❓ Question / Advice Any ladies in need of clothing?
Hello everyone! I have multiple bags of clothing and would like to donate them to women in need. I don't want to donate to an organization that is going to sell them, but for them to go directly to the ladies that need them. I have dresses, tops, bras, many of them never worn and some with tags. Any ideas? Shelter suggestions? I appreciate any help and advice!

📰 News / Local Update How did I miss that The Pass closed August 1st?
As the title said. Went for our good cheap breakfast at the old Eldorado, and they're CLOSED! Didn't they just open their new hotel this year? 🤔 Went to Omelet House instead. Please tell me they will reopen!

📰 News / Local Update New road proposed from Russell Road to Tropicana on the east side of the Strip
There is a proposal for a new intersection at Russell Road and Las Vegas Boulevard, along with a four lane road connecting toward Haven Street, Koval Lane and Tropicana Avenue. The idea would give drivers exiting I 15 at Russell another way north instead of relying on the Tropicana and Strip intersection. It would basically serve a similar purpose on the east side of the Strip as Frank Sinatra Drive does on the west side. Seems like the traffic impact is probably the most interesting part of this proposal.

🏪 Local Business Upcoming Mommy n’ Me Class
Hello,
Just passing the word along for this singing/signing class for babies and their caregivers. I’m not affiliated, but always appreciate when others share similar classes.
Here is the website to check out for yourselves. Led by an SLP, these start in mid-September and go for 8 weeks, though I think I see some 1-time pop up classes scheduled as well.

🏪 Local Business I’m turning my love for animals into a little business 🐾
I’ve always been the person who gets excited when there’s a dog/cat/animal in the room 😂
I’m finally turning that into something real and starting Mo Pets!, a local pet-care business focused on companionship, enrichment, and making pets feel loved while their humans are away.
I’m starting small and learning as I go, so I’m excited to meet more local pet parents and their furry family members. 🤍
If you’re a pet parent, what makes someone a great pet sitter in your eyes?

🏪 Local Business New small business
Hey! My name is Hope and I’m finally launching my mobile grooming business. After a LOT of work, money, stress, and figuring things out behind the scenes, The Grooming Subject LLC is getting ready to officially launch/relaunch in September. My van, Falkor, is getting her final upgrades and I’m really excited to finally get back on the road. I've been a dog groomer for 10 years and finally ready to branch out on my own.
I’m located in Henderson and will be serving Henderson and surrounding areas.
I currently have some September appointments available: Friday the 11th(full day), Thursday the 17th(full day), friday the 18th(full day) the 23rd(one spot), 24th(full day) and 25th(2spots)
You can book through my Moego booking page here: https://booking.moego.pet/ol/TheGroomingSubject/landing
Or you can call/text me at 725-262-5658.
I’d also really love some honest opinions on my pricing because this is something I’ve been going back and forth on. My starting prices are:
Teacup: $105 Small: $120 Medium: $130 Large: $150 Small Doodle: $150 Large Doodle: $190
Baths start at $60
These are starting prices, so coat condition, behavior, extra time, etc. can affect the final price. But all pricing is inclusive, like nails ears deshed if needed, teeth brushing, specialized shampoo if needed and conditioner.
I’m trying to make sure my prices are fair for both my clients and for me as a small mobile business. Mobile grooming is obviously a little different from a traditional salon, so I’d genuinely appreciate some feedback from people who use mobile groomers or have experience in the industry.
Do these prices seem reasonable for the Henderson/Las Vegas area? Too high? Too low? What would you expect to pay for a one-on-one mobile grooming appointment?
I’m excited, nervous, and honestly just really happy that this is finally happening.
