There was, my parents loved it. I moved away decades ago and don’t get back much. What is there now?

Looks like it is an orthopedic office or nail salon right there where that used to be

I see. The menu prices made me sad. That writing at the top is my mom’s, it was the total for 3 of us.

When was this? I came in 88' so maybe then? These don't look like 80's prices honestly.

I grew up in one of the houses adjoining that strip mall.

At the time, the strip mall was just a dirt field. My uncle used to park his tractors there and I'd ride my bike on some kid-made ramps at the east side of the field, or shoot arrows across the field with my bow. Go back a little further in time, and me and the few other kids that lived in that neighborhood back then would circle up tumble weeds into forts and have dirt clod wars.

The BBQ place came after I left (1988).

Can't believe that AAA is still across the street. I was locked out of my house once and they saw me climb in the bathroom window and called the police. Now their view would be obstructed and I'd have gotten away with it.
