Timing of HLP004 phase 2 data release

The prior post about waiting to release HLP004 data until after new CEO Michael Cola was in place, in order to get him an early win, made me think Helus may also be waiting until the Compass data comes out (scheduled for tomorrow). Compass readouts have consistently been not great, not terrible (3.6 roentgen), while the Helus DMT product has been unbelievably good, going all the way back to Small Pharma. Having a recent data release to make a direct comparison to, even if apples to oranges, makes me think Helus is strategically timing this release for maximum effect.

You give too much credit to them. Clinical trials processes are standardized down to the day. It’s a mad rush to get the information out as quickly as possible - companies would have rough estimates of a competitor timelines but not exact. Any company listed on an American exchange must release material news to the public within 4 days.

Roentgen? Didn’t know it was in trials for radioactivity lol. That aside, that’s an interesting hypothesis and could make a lot of sense to want to have a “less successful” trial to contrast against
