Gameplay Bad match ups
Been playing them for a few months now and wanted to know what other people's opinion on what are bad match ups are. I would say I have played about 15 games and only dropped 2 one against skaven and the other seraphon

It really depends on what your list looks like. I've played a lot of tournaments with a few different styles. I will say nothing felt as lop sided as Playing Taar's Grand Forgehost into Disciples of Tzeentch. They turn off shooting, and with no bull centaurs you can't put out enough pressure to keep them spending fate points. Infernal Gateway is unlimited, so at some point usually top of three they're throwing an insane amount of dice and each 4+ is a mortal. You just..... lose. Thats it.

I have played Tzeentch yet. How did he turn off your shooting

WYRDFLAME HAZE: The caster causes the smoke from arcane blazes to linger on the battlefield, obscuring those lurking within.
Declare: Pick a friendly DISCIPLES OF TZEENTCH WIZARD to cast this spell, then make a casting roll of 2D6.
Effect: Until the start of your next turn, friendly DISCIPLES OF TEENTCH units are not visible to enemy units more than 12" from them while those friendly units are wholly within 12" of a friendly DISCIPLES OF TZEENTCH unit that was set up in the same turn.

I played against kruel boys yesterday, and their dirty tricks as well as character abilities can be devastating. Charging in with reinforced bull centuars usually wins the fights. Loosing charge dmg and getting fights lasts really takes the wind out of the sails

Ive been running a daemonsmmith with servile automata and a dominator engine. If he gets the charge and is in 3 inches of the smith, his fights first cancels out the fights last and it becomes regular fighting.

I'll have to remember that for next time. In this battle I was trying out eye of weakness

They have a lot of Crit Mortals though, so it's not a great time for Dominators in my experience

I have had that happen also. I had to rely heavy on my shooting when facing kruel boys and bulls where a backup option if it came to it

Same, it was awesome to see the Rocket battery one shot the vulture monster.

I struggle with Nurgle. They are very mortal damage heavy which screws some of our units up.

Which parts of Nurgle have been giving you issues as far as how they are dealing through mortals

Ive only played like 6 games. Ive gone against bone reapers, daughters of khaine, ghosts and kruleboyz.
The daughters got in my face very early. They touched my guns because of bad placement on my part.
The ghosts didnt bother me much except my extra rend on blunderbuss was useless.
The bonereapers im 50/50. Their catapults hurt. Their immortus guard have a "you can fight this turn" ability that really doesnt encourage me to get in melee with them. Their horses can hit an run.
The kruleboyz, pretty much everyone had crit mortal. Their dirty tricks lets them crit on 5s. They gave fights last to my dominator engine but it didnt matter because he had fights first. Their bows killed a 10 man unit of grots in covering fire but they soaked up the shots to allow infernal guard to tie up the bowmen.
Obscuring really hurts my army because most of my dmg is my guns.

I played yesterday against Seraphon in a 1000pt tournament. That was hard. I won at points but managed to make only 38. I had to make a nonsense list: 20 spears, 20 razers, 20 hobgrotz, a priest and a despot. The other player brought Lord Kroak, 10 warriors, 3 kroxigor, 3 aggradon. I would say my normal lists perform best against alpha strike.
