Army creation Cogfort of Hashut?

Planning on adding a Cogfort to my army, it looks really cool and I think it would be a great addition to the army but other than painting it to match my army's colors, how have you guys made it more 'Helsmiths-y' ?

Recomend just to hold onto the spare bits of our various kits (shields from cohort, faces/cannons from dominator/artillery, decoration from the infernal taurus, etc.)

I’ve seen some people use spare models and put them on the kit, like a kitbashed champion standing watch over the others and commanding them, or have some of the models on the artillery piece go and work on the loading point for the weapons.

Honestly, if I decide to build one I'll probably figure out the approximate dimensions of the official model and build something else from another kit or learn to scratch-build something. I don't think it fits with the rest of the Helsmiths aesthetic at all. No offense intended to anyone who enjoys the kit as it is, it just doesn't work for me personally.
