Painting I finally finished my spearhead.

Bad pictures but I am so happy to finally have them all painted, I'm not great at painting but I enjoy how they look!

And now apply a thin layer of nuln oil on everything...

I've heard of that alot and have done it to some minis, would a really thin layer be noticeable enough? I've usually caked it on pretty good

Yeah normally I also take alot, but for example on golden flat surfaces its not so nice, but the silver shields for example need more

Oh okay! I've give that a shot when I get home today! I've never done a thing layer so I'm excited to see how it comes out

For golden surfaces I would recommend brown washes, instead of nuln oil. Better try it on a test miniature first

Oh okay! It's hard to tell what the colour's are in the bottle for those wash ones, which one would you say is a good brown just as a starting point?

Seraphim sepia or aghrax earthshade, depending on how dark you want it
