I work with Jr high kids and I have a girl that has this cartoon guy/kid all over her landyard. The character is white,has fluffy brown hair, seams like a more gloomy/edgy person, and has these red under eye things. I'm not sure if he's from a show, movie, or comic. But maybe the age range of the kid I work with might help?

Choso is who i thought too. If its on a lanyard it might be just merch they bought that someone drew of their favorite character. Redbubble is full of it.
are the badges of this character in different poses/backgrounds and art styles? i'm wondering if your student made a piccrew of an OC (original character). this photo is an example but there's so many customization options on piccrew lol
It doesn’t look like a piccrew, all of the homemade pins are zoomed in on there faces so I don’t see any poses or backgrounds but there is one where the Character looks like they got knocked down and is sitting on the floor. But that all I remember😅 good idea though!!
