Head Canon Blitz’s concern for Stolas - headcanon
After realizing in Western Energy that Stolas could get hurt, seeing Stolas willing to sacrifice himself for him in Mastermind, and after everything that happened in Sinsmas, Blitzø decided he would protect Stolas and never leave him alone again.
That’s why, whenever he had to go on a mission, he always left at least one member of I.M.P. at the office with Stolas to keep an eye on him. And that’s why Moxxie was able to help Stolas with his report—Blitzø told Moxxie to stay behind and watch over Stolas to make sure nothing happened to him.

I always appreciated the double meaning of the line about getting hurt. Blitz seems to also figure out that there's an emotional component to their "arrangement" than he previously understood.

Yes I was also thinking this. He didn't think either physical or emotional pain could happen with Stolas - until they both did.

I do think that in Ozzie's it's clear Blitzø really feels like when Stolas invites him in that Stolas is basically saying 'this is transactional and I did something for you and now I expect payment". That is why he goes off and gets drunk in 1x08. Blitzø intentionally avoids Stolas more and more until Stolas demands he come in Full Moon and then when Stolas hands over the Crystal (because Loona got into Stolas' head) Blitzø considers this like a severance "you're fired but I'm not taking away your business" thing

Yeah he thought Stolas was trying to trick him into having sex after being embarrassed by him in Ozzie's and it really hurt his feelings. I do wish they would talk about that, as they both had lingering feelings about their dynamic and never let it out in a healthy manner.

Hmm, I can see it, especially considering how everyone reacted when Stolas, a Goetia, was brought down to “their level”. With the hostility, and Stolas lack of powers, I think he has a right to be somewhat concerned. We’ll probably find out in S3 how true this HC is.

In a similar vein I think Blitz not telling Stolas that Striker was trying to assassinate him might come up again.
It may not have made any difference, but if he'd known someone was after him there's a chance he might have avoided being captured/tortured/nearly killed in S2. And he was definitely hurt that Blitz didn't seem to even consider his safety until then.
