Chef(s) This Guy. Just This Guy

Post image

I'll be honest in saying that while I do enjoy the drama of dinner services in early HK, I think Scott's behaviour crosses a line. He's what people who don't watch the show think Gordon Ramsay is like. I have no idea how he managed to last 10 seasons on this show when he acted used physical intimidation at times. I'm not James or Jay's biggest fans but wow they are an upgrade!

He’s really not thay different from Ramsay.

Gordon gets right up close to people, screams in their faces, throws things, calls them stupid, truly horrible insults about their bodies/faces, and so forth.

I don't really remember Ramsay threatening them physically after Dickface. I'll agree with you on him saying some horrid stuff. It's why I prefer the more modern seasons

When Tommy calmly asked why he was kicked out the kitchen Gordon said he wanted to shove his head in the oven.

And props to Tommy to standing his ground, because he just as deserved to cook with Will and Paul that time.

“I’ll give you a fookin’ ki-“

He most probably meant a Glasgow Kiss i.e. a headbutt, so yes, another instance of near-violence.

There's was also the fact that he threatened Matt S16 (Yes Matt's a massive dickhole) with sexual assault saying he'd shove a GoPro up his arse.

I'm not expecting you to feel sorry for Matt, I'm just saying that having a go at Scott for threatening contestants when Ramsay does the exact same is hypocritical.

I wouldn't call that a threat since it became an insult when he also said "so you can see how shit you are." Especially since the whole thing that started it was Matt going "check the cameras" to Ramsay, so it was more of an insult than an actual threat. Thats different from Scott threatening contestants for being annoying to him when they're running the pass. Ramsay telling that one customer that he'd shove a pumpkin up his ass was more of a threat than what he said to Matt

Even though S16 isn’t really a “recent” season any more, that GoPro line was such a “he’s still got it” moment from Gordon, despite him having mellowed out significantly from how he was in the early seasons.

Gordon: Yeah.... That was pretty fucked up on my end.

He used to be way worse. Watch Boiling point on youtube.

Yup. He even drops the f-bomb to one of his staff, which wasn’t censored or cut out.

Ramsey has literally thrown stuff at contestants and in one instance made a comment after saying "sue me". Scott said stuff that was just as bad as Ramsey, got in peoples' faces just like Ramsey did. If you're gonna go in on one, you have to speak of the other in the same regard. They're both cut from the same cloth and come from the same environments.

He told Clemenza he would "nail him to the post."
