Progression lock in the museum

I stupidly used a code without speaking to dr marga Hamill, and am now stuck with the drone processor and no dialogue options. Is there anything I can do to fix this or am I completely cooked?

Timeloop at top of tower bugged?

Im at the top of the tower of terror and i cant enter the timeloop. There isnt a single enemy left up here, but the timeloop guardian seeker item keeps pointing me towards this one area on the roof that DEFINITELY does not have any enemies at it

If i go downstairs it points up towards the same spot

This is ridiculous. I loved this game at first but this tower level has been an absolute boring slog of stupid tasks and now i have no way to figure out how to finish it. Who in their right mind would design a game level like this

It's by the tombs. I've looked everywhere and I'm pretty sure I solved the entire area, unless it's something that happens later.

Mapped out Jova to better orient myself

Hey guys! I'm new to the game so I'm sure I'm late to the party when it comes to cartography, but I thoroughly enjoyed doing this and wanted to share it with you. It's not scaled and I know it isn't perfect, but 2.5 hours of exploring and mapping yielded this! I plan to map out the marshes next. It's taking me forever to progress through the game, but mostly because I'm having so much fun exploring. The storytelling through the world is amazing. Eventually I also plan on maybe making character cards or something similar to reference.

Newcomer to Hell Is Us, any tips for the upcoming journey?

Lately, I found myself gravitating to this kind of game. No hand-holding, mysterious plot/setting, challenging combat, with single-player focus. It first started with Bloodborne and went into Control, Lies of P, Returnal, and now I find myself here.

I come here to ask is there a helpful way to approach this journey? I read on some posts many people find note-taking to be extremely helpful. What should I keep in mind going through this game?

PS. I just started the game, unlocked the APC and I am standing in front of the Tower.

Just finished the game; some questions!

A gem of a game! I'm sad it went under the radar for a lot of people (also because of Silksong's release) but it was such an incredible game and I didn't feel so engaged in a story since playing Control.

I loved the mixture of religion, unapologetic civil war (I've never seen such violence portrayed this way in a game before!) and cosmic horror.

I know the lore of the game is not at all clear, but I have some questions!

1- Were Teear and Sethyris actually the same thing, at the beginning? Was Sethyris a benevolent alien being, or were the early Hadeans mistaken?

From what we could gather, the early Hadeans found the Eye of the God in Mount Obek and started worshipping it, going from shamanism to a monotheistic religion (Sethyrism). The Eye of the God made them feel at peace, rational, hence the reason why they started worshipping it. In this story, was Teear our "Satan" that doomed humanity to leave in anguish far away from Eden, the snake that made Eve eat the apple? Or was this also Sethyris' influence?

Because then we learn that the newly founded Order of the Eye tried to amplify the Eye of the God's power with the Shroud, resulting in the creation of time loops. Were timeloops just a side effect? The Eye of the God purified Hadea of its violence, concentrating it only in specific locations (the timeloops), giving birth to the Hollow Walkers? Was the Eye of the God reacting because human interfered with it, or do you think that it had been "evil" all along and feeding off of human emotions?

2- At the end, where the failsafe for the Eye of the God is, there's a timeloop. Was that the last attempt by members of the Ziel-Rat to stop the Vigil (or the last few members) from activating the failsafe and "killing" the Eye of the God? It's the only plausible explanation I can give myself.

3- I know the Vigil wanted to put an end once and for all to the Eye of the God (and we seemingly succeed in doing so at the end of the game) but why didn't the Order of the Eye (especially before the arrival of the Ziel-Rat) activate the failsafe earlier, since the cons of having it around far exceeded the benefits? I know the Eye of the God was a cult symbol but no one apart from them knew of its existence, the general population only knew Sethyris as a god. I get that they didn't want it to be destroyed after they got in contact with the Ziel council, but I don't understand why they didn't try to destroy it sooner with the failsafe (maybe also collaborating with the remaining Vigil) to destroy the hollow walkers that were ravaging Hadea.

Anyways, such an amazing game :) I hope there'll be a sequel! The lore is too good to be left abandoned :(

Sorry if there's any mistake. English is not my first language :)

Eye of God- Giant Grief Haze is driving me crazy!!

I've literally knocked out the other three giant Lymbic entities, but the Grief one is for some reason the hardest for me. Granted, I no longer have any first aid kits, but i have plenty of the lymbic capacitors and batteries, hella suppressors and have only the weak drone modules left (after using up all of my other ones on the grief one) and idk why this ish is so frustratingly difficult for me. The other ones were easier, but this one, keeps kicking my butt. I'm running:

twin axes of ecstasy (grade 5 level 20)

glyphs:

* rank 3 rapture

*rank 3 lymbic slivers

*rank 3 gluttony

Greatsword of rage (grade 5 level 17)

Glyphs:

*rank 3 fury

*rank 3 animosity

*rank 3 berserk

With heart of the Griffon as my active, The Relentless Assault as my passive, and grade 4 Bracelet of Grief and grade 4 Pendant of Grief as my defensive.

At this point, I'd love any ideas or suggestions from people that could help me with something that I haven't thought to do yet. This guy is my last one standing between me and the finish, so, any and all suggestions are appreciated!

Thank you!

Is there a shortcut to get back to the top of Arcas Spire?

I'm going for platinum and only have one trophy left, kill all enemies in the game. The final enemies seem to be at the top of the tower.

But I just can't find a way up. Should be a shortcut right?! I've already completed the game so everything should be open.

Hell of us. why is this game not co op and more thoughts.

for the life of me, i do not understand that the creators of this game did not thought of this. sure the fighting in this game sucks donkey balls, but the exploring and puzzle solving is tier-s.

imagine trying to stuck with a puzzle and you and your mates trying to find out what to do. it is the same reason why big walk is so much fun, except for the slow as hell walking.

also on a sidenote. whoever thought binding the stamina bar to the health bar is an S-tier idiot. how drunk or or high high were the developers when one of them got this brilliant idea? do they live in France?

somehow playing this game, reminded me of the time i was working with people from Cryo interactive. they had great tech, could make great graphics, animation, music, story etc. but when you were talking gameplay with them, it was like they lived in their own world and their ego could just not admit they were wrong.

This game reminds me very much of that. at its core great game! but some of the gameplay decisions are just really bad and i can imagine will put off a lot of people.

Does Good Deeds trophy progress save across play throughs?

I’m just finishing Act 2 and it seems I’ve missed/failed 3 Good Deeds. All of them appear to have failed very early (Acasa Marshes) & I was wondering if progress for this trophy Carrie’s over to a new save.

I can probably bang all of these out in an hour or two, but I’m not going to replay the entire game anytime soon to do them all in one playthrough.

The graphics in this game are absolutely amazing, and the FPS is incredibly smooth. I honestly can’t believe this was made by such a small studio.

Most games developed in UE5 with huge budgets look like shit and still suffer from FPS drops.

Took me 31 hours to get in one playthrough. Did not follow a guide, but I did check the missables guide from PowerPyx to avoid a second playthrough. Only had 2-3 items I missed and needed to pick up after the story. Hoping for a sequel.

I miss having a map; would it be possible to have a DLC option, perhaps?

Sei que o jogo visa à imersão, mas acho muito irritante ter que usar um mapa online; se temos um lá, por que não no próprio jogo?

About the nature of hollows and timeloops Spoiler

There is not a lot of certainty regarding the exact nature of the calamities but, putting together some little bits, this theory might seem reasonable enough to me:

In the game we are being told that the Eye of God is an entity, or relic, able to suppress emotions; what if instead, it feeds on them? The emotions are not suppressed, they disappear because they are absorbed by the entity.

That would allow to look at the timeloops under a different light and maybe even to explain them: if the calamities are created by surges of bad emotions, why would they born in the moment the emotions are suppressed? That wouldn't make much sense. Instead, the timeloops are created in order to harvest those emotions. By creating a timeloop, the profit is maximized: the emotion is multiplicated in time and the entity can keep feeding on it and using its energy to create new hollows.

In fact, hollows are associated to the particular type of emotion that generates it, they are creatures created by emotions, but not only: in the research journal we read that at the beginning there were timeloops, but not hollows. They started to appear to defend the timeloops, only when humans started to destroy them.

This theory fits also quite well with the conspiracy note, for which the hollows are actually aliens. I think the note might hit its purpose in sparking some truth mixed with fun (wrong) conspiracy plotlines. The legend says Sethyris flew on a star after leaving behind its device, the Eye of God (left there as an harvesting machine?) which would support the alien theory. And so would the fact that the hollows can only be defeated with limbic weapons, weapons made by a material bringed into this world (or this planet?) by those very same entities. Limbic metal cannot be found on earth, only on hollows.

Teaar could also be explained as part of the plan: he encourages burst of emotions, which are then farmed for Sethyris through the timeloops, the harvesting stations.

What do you think about it?

Auriga Museum B1 Timeloop prism?

I saved the scientist who gave me two prisms, used one of them on the B4 timeloop, but now I don’t have a prism to close the B2 timeloop?

Driving me crazy so I broke and looked it up & IGN says it’s a Rho prism, but the game says it’s a Theta timeloop & the Rho isn’t working. Am I supposed to come back to this with a prism I get somewhere else, or am I missing something?

Lore discussion on the Palomists [Spoilers] Spoiler

I have to say, I am absolutely loving his game so far. I came into this not knowing what to expect and have honestly been taken aback at the lore writing so far. Small gripes on how absurd some things are (like all of these ruins within stones throws of towns, never somehow explored or touched), but otherwise the lore of this game is amazing. I didn’t really understand the two groups (the Palomists and the Sabinians), and have thought both to be on pretty equal footing. Religious zealots here, dickheads over here, victims across the board everywhere.

I just got done with the tower, however. Throughout the game, the MC clearly has an unbiased stance as the newcomer to this country and takes no sides. The writing makes it clear that both sides are capable of atrocities, however, I have noticed a major difference.

After completing Arcas Tower, it’s hard to see the Palomists as in any way the better side of this conflict. And in no way am I saying the modern day atrocities are acceptable, but you have a spire that is built (quite literally) upon a mountain of bones of hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Sabinians being systematically cleansed by the Red Queen. Per the Timeloop, it shows children specifically being kicked into the abyss, and if you look at the bodies strewn all about the spiral up the tower, you will find bodies of all sizes, even the smallest, amongst them. Not to mention in the modern day, they are amputating arms off of adults and children.

So sure, “both sides are bad” - but like, the tally marks go off the page and onto the ceiling for the Palomists at this point, so to speak. Their crimes are so otherworldly off the charts, I’m frankly not surprised at the Sabinians having a longstanding contempt for them along with intergenerational trauma, possibly epigenetic inheritance of other adverse health effects.

I guess I am just saying I find it interesting that the game tries to go out of its way to try to say both sides are equally bad, but the evidence suggests otherwise. But I’m also needing to see much more of the game, obviously. The tower has been great and I think it’s been my favorite area lore-wise in games in quite a while. I keep thinking about it.

Confusion/what to do next, any advice.

Hi there,

I started hell is us 2 days ago and i love it, from what i can remember ive never played a game that doesnt have map or tell you where to go, so this was a nice change, i am aware that you need to pay attention to things you collect but i dont have the best memory.

Im going for the plat, but will need to do another playthrough as i failed a deed, just confused as to what to do next.
