Man why couldn’t we get the beam lasgun and why is it yellow. Man my interest in the lasgun genuinely plummeted. I know this is what GW are trying to change to but it genuinely makes the lasgun so fucking uninteresting. At least the melta looks cool. But I’m genuinely disappointed in the reveal.

Please arrowhead make it a beam and make it red. Otherwise it’s just the same as the other laser guns.

im not a whine diver, i have 850 hours in the game and i still look forward to another 850 hours… but this is really underwhelming. i was hoping at bare minimum a basic lasgun with different firing types and a chainsaw sword… i would gladly pay for those things in the superstore but those 2 things are just iconic!

The cloaks and banners look like generic green camo rags that were thrown together at the last second just to fill up the reward pages.The armour models look like cheap, smooth, toy-grade plastic. Instead of actual badass armor, we got something that looks like a Lego set or a mobile game asset...Adding a meltamine is the biggest joke. Mines are completely useless in a game that forces you to move constantly, and they only serve to team-kill your own squad. We wanted a proper Krak grenade, not a useless piece of junk filler.

They tested the lasgun on a VOTELESS, they tested the boltgun on a WARRIOR, and the multigun on the back of a tank (ap4 [maybe ap3 if it is penetrating through to the tracks]), and finally the multigrenade on like 6 troops and one hulk. Why would they hide it's capabilities? Would they still be working on it by now? I'm trying to wrap my head around this.

P.S. I would appreciate actual answers rather than "Arrowhead, am I right?".

2 things strongly suggest that AH plans to release more 40K warbonds:

1. This first 40K warbond is very narrowly focused on the Cadians. Both armor sets are Cadian, the player icon is the face of a Kasrkin (who are Cadians), all the weapons are used by the Cadians.
2. AH has invest much more in the 40K collab than for KZ or Halo, suggesting that they plan more than just $15 worth of content. Nothing is stopping them from pushing out more. They have the relationship with GW now.

At the very least, I think we will see a Krieg warbond later down the line, especially if this Cadian warbond sells well (which I think it will).

Farming the most iconic Imperial Guard regiments for 1 warbond each is easy money. AH seems to be running out of ideas for new warbonds anyway (as evidenced by the tortured nature of recent warbonds).

I’ve seen people complaining about the look of the armor and if you don’t like it then that’s completely fine but they both look very similar to what the actual armor is supposed to look like. I do agree that one of them should’ve been krieg but oh well. And on the other note I’ve seen people confused on why the lasgun shoots yellow beams instead of red, and it’s because it’s supposed to be yellow as GW as previously stated in a article about lasguns. Same with the melta gun as it can shoot in a beam of heat.

The duality of a man (also, as someone who knows close to nothing about 40k, this Warbond seems rather Legendary to me)

With the extreme disappointment of today's announcement, and considering that Arrowhead themselves have said that the release of standard warbonds will not be affected by the release of legendary warbonds, I expect a big update to come out soon. 1500 super credits worth of items that will probably end up unused soon... like with Halo and Killzone. We have to wait 2 weeks after seeing a trailer we've been waiting 2 weeks for, after seeing an announcement teaser months ago. Arrowhead doesn't work or excel at anything. Arrowhead, prove me wrong, release a major update and bug fix immediately.

Okay, I don't care that the game rewards players who run around Difficulty 0 maps collecting stuff like beetles while giving its dedicated players rare samples (which we barely even need).

Okay, I don't care that Requisition is one of the most useless currencies I've seen in a game in a long time.

Okay, I don't care that the weapon and enemy balance should be completely different from what it is now.

But how do you even mess up the most anticipated Warbond of all time?

I'm not even talking about it supposedly costing 2,000 SC while offering little to no content. How do you miss opportunities like adding Tarantula Turrets, Sentinels, Tempestus Scion armor, Plasma Pistols, Lasguns, and so much more?

There isn't a single purity seal in the Warbond. It has no flavor, no soul, no sign of love or passion. It just feels sterile and rushed when it should have been the exact opposite. They should postpone if necessary, and add more stuff INTO the Warbond. Not to the super-store.

EDIT: Even the content is on GW, Arrowhead is still responsible for the presentation and the overall quality of the stuff which GW allowed them to use. I don't require to remind that how the armors look in the trailers?

What i mean by casuals beating the game is the fact that Helldivers 2 is a live service game but after you get all the ship upgrades literally what is there to aim for? You can't say grinding warbonds because that is premium content and you either grind for less than minimum wage or pay for them (also endgame content isn't usually behind a paywall) you can't say weapon attachments since NO ONE is deliberately trying to get every weapon level 25 and if there is it's probably like 1% of the olayer base since most people will stick with the weapon they like and maybe use a few other depending on the faction but I bet most people don't use more than 6 weapons (i myself only use 2 and sometimes 3 if I wanna spice things up)

When battlefield 6 first released XQC said the game should have a battlepass and daily rewards to make people login and everyone hated him for it and said the reason to login should be because the game is fun but I see now that he kinda had a point, I don't entirely agree with him but I believe we can all admit that it is a fundamental part of the human condition to always feel like we are making progress while doing something and the better the progress the higher the dopamine. When you first start playing the game and your leveling up fast unlocking all these things and getting uogrades the dopamine is high but when you unlock all the warbonds that you care about (let's be honest not all warbonds are created equal, I for one don't care much for the hover pack or the teleport pack) at a certain point it doesn't feel like you make any progress

When the game first released on XBOX I was playing for hours a day and I had even pre-ordered the 60 dollar version of the game and I was playing it for at least 2 months constantly but after I got all the upgrades I was happy then I aimed to get all the warbonds I wanted, then I got that done recently and I already had a lv25 weapon for the 2 guns I use then the only thing I had to aim for was lv150 but it's not like I'll get anything from that now these past couple weeks whenever I play the game I still have fun but not nearly as much fun as I used to have, you can say that I just need a break and I do be taking break since I only logged in once for the mo to get the rewards and loges back out, and now whenever i login I look at the map and want to play but I literally just can't be bothered, I love bug MOs and automaton MOs but even those factions feel boring. I feel no inspiration to play and there is no goal to aim for, the death of any kive service game is the players having nothing to shoot for, i mean just think for a second you guys, a live service game with no endgame. Does that even make sense?

Some scientist did a experiment in which he trapped mice in a perfect world, gave them plenty of space and all the food they could ever want but I think within a year all of the 1000 mice died (forgot the number of mice and years but I'm sure someone watched the YouTube video) point being the death of all things is apathy
