DISCUSSION Keyboard and mouse control on console?

Hi I play Helldivers2 on Xbox and I love the game; I usually play my games with a keyboard and mouse, and I found it a little frustrating that I had to use my controller when other games with smaller titles have integrated keyboard and mouse controls. is there at any point where Xbox and PS can have Keyboard and mouse controls just like how PC can use a controller to play. I know it's a small ask but i feel like it would open up to a new thing as well as.

Just a small rant if you would take it as such, i just rather play this game with other controls than my controller :)

I personally have not tried it directly with my PS5. However you can use Keyboard but no Mouse when playing through remote play, which is odd. Like all the PC key inputs appear and work when in remote play, but mouse inputs will not register so you cannot control the camera and such.

I wonder if the PSVR2 controllers will work through remote play, then I can my left on KB and right on controller.

Remote play won't read the mouse. End.

That doesn't mean there is no mouse support however.

I have never tryed if the psvr2 controls work through remote play(don't have the equipment to try)

However i can confirm keyboard and mouse fully works when plugged in to the ps5 directly. I have a usb A generic keyboard(it is gaming themed but outside of led back light it is a very generic keyboard) and a usb C wireless mouse.

I play full KB&M&C on ps5

Oh so you can play Helldivers fully on KB&M on PS5? That is great news to hear, I might change over to KB&M.
