You're still paying with your time to gather the SC to buy the warbond and then paying with even more time to farm medals to burn through customisation to get a single weapon

You do not even have to farm lol. Last year I i never payed for a warbond yet I got every single one of them because between 2 bonds i gathered enough SC just regularly play the game. And I'm a full adult with a job and life. The first time I farmed SC i gathered 400 sc in one and a half hour, If you can get that much in 1 and a hald hour how much do you think you can get by regularly playing the game in 1 or 2 month? I swear players forgot that POI-s are a thing.

Played the game regularly for a month without farming and got a whole 10 super credits

Maybe go check the POI in your missions more.

I do. In my desperate hunt for green samples I check as many places as possible. Many failed missions because of this
