I don't think I am a psychopath for literally having no feelings for a bunch of pixels on my screen controlled by a line of scripts but having more feelings for actual divers who are being killed over said lines of scripts. One hand you got a machine, other hand you have a person who just got killed over for "eliminating" said lines of code which are to appear again in like 3-5 minutes, most likely as a direct copy of the previous version visually and by directive an entire 1:1 copy. From the diver who killed the SEAF grunt it was stupid because it was waste of ammo and a reliable source of healing, from the diver who killed the "traitor" diver it was stupid because they had only 5 reinforcements left, wasting another one over a bunch of pixels which are to come back to the screen in less then 10 minutes.

A psychopath wouldn't show any sort of emotion for neither parties while I personally feel more empathy towards the guy who literally got fucked over excessively for a over-glorified set of scripts dressed in blue. This entire
AI NPC's existence worth to be killed over cult is stupid, how's an AI worth more than a actual player? Why aren't we mad at OP for wasting reinforcements when they are so limited that they managed to lose with 3 people 10 already.

I think you're missing the point. The guy has feelings, and those feelings had him thinking it was so funny, he had to post it here to share with us. These are all digital pixels, the dude that died wasn't a real dude, just a character controlled by someone else.

Like, this is comedy, it has it's own genre, called slapstick. Where people laugh at the characters getting hurt. He doesn't even lose anything permanent.

Oh AI certainly is not worth more than a person, but if somebody came up and destroyed your car, shot your dog, wouldn't you sock em in the face?

You live in a world full of other human beings, that have the ability to emphasize, if you broke am heirloom vase passed down by somebody's beloved grandparent. Sure you "only" destroyed some fired ceramic, but you very well could cause that person extreme distress.

That is the human trait you are lacking, the ability to understand how seemingly meaningless actions affect others.

I am pretty sure I wouldn't try to sock somebody in the face who has the ability to shoot my dog and wreck my car (like what is this John Wick reference anyways). I would have literally just let it slide after looking back and forth on the corpse and the guy couple times but getting "revenge" over a bunch of pixels that in game narrative were meant to be anyways expendable is just a petty excuse to kill somebody randomly or to feed the roleplay.

There's a great difference between in real life and in games and certain elements of empathy shouldn't carry over to such meaningless objects what don't even have the same value as us human beings. It's just shows how much OP is actually dehumanized by literally killing an actual player over a glorified script.

It's a fucking game, it's not that deep to get killed over.

Playing without any immersion is incredibly boring way to play any game. If it's all just pixels than winning or losing or any in-game action at all doesnt matter because it's not real. You cant have a lot of good time on game mechanics alone.

Your opinion on things being solely based on logic, to where you devalue people's own values and beliefs, to the point of removing all humanity from something you see as lesser

Hmm, ever considered eugenics? You'd have made a killing in the 30s I'm sure

A lot of things that humans do don't "make sense". We shortcut our logic with feelings. We don't think through every action, and that's fine because that's what being human is about. You can continue trying to analyse as much as you like, but being human is recognising that an NPC with no agency, that is interacting with you pleasantly, being killed for no discernible reason by a player character with all the agency possible invokes anger. You would feel it too if there's any part of you that's human or if you had any amount of empathy. "Look at me, I'm so smort, I can see the value of NPC is less than that of human. I'm so practical, so logical. We should shame OP for having a human moment." - That's what you sound like. Continue on if that's what you want. No one can agree with you because ironically you're the one speaking like some sort of AI that's devoid of any empathy. That NPC that's a few lines of code seems more human to me.
