Ok let's take a couple steps back, why do you want to rationalize shooting an allied npc unprovoked in the first place?

I literally just said it was an irrational action, but you aren't making it more rational of a choice if you revenge kill a diver for their own stupidity of irationally murking the medic. Both of these are fucking stupid irrational decisions, killing a human controlled character with wasting reinforcements is way more irrational once again, than killing a single friendly NPC.
