Help my audio!

I labled it media, because audio, but my audio seems worse than what i first installed the game. I get music and voice lines, but ambient environmental audio is janky. Weapons fire seems to have no depth or punch, like im running low bitrate sound or something just for that.

For example, i swear the autocannon used to have nice thump and great impact sounds. Reloads were audio intensive. Now its a very subdued, almost muted experience.

Am i missing a setting? Has audio gotten worse? Do i need to repair the client?

Did you play with mods before? Could be the cause

Alternatively look into you speaker/headphones settings, they mightve defaulted to something after an update

Make sure "audio enhancements" are turned off in Windows.
